“Can I be transparent?? Running a business for 5 years has to be the absolute most challenging thing, besides raising kids, that I’ve ever done. It’s been soooo many times that I wanted to quit! I wanted to find a job & take another route because sometimes it was just that hard. I’ve been in a brick & mortar for 5 years!! & NOTHING about that is easy. I’ve lost so much along the way you wouldn’t believe it. I’ve had cars taken, lights cut off, an extremely high water bill, people have stolen from me, contractors ran off, things broken, ideas stolen, behind on rent, hell you name it I’m sure I’ve experienced it. People love to glorify it on social media but behind the scenes is HARD!! Not to mention I lost my little brother along the way. It’s been plenty of times I had to go back to work a 9-5 just to maintain. BUT the one thing I will say is when something is meant for YOU, GOD will ALWAYS make a way! I’ve had social media influencers, celebrities, rappers, state senators, police officers, fire fighters, actors, people from all over the world just to come and see me! I love what I do & I pray for my business daily. Anytime I’ve lost something God has replaced it with something greater! Never lose faith or your hope! Ooh LaLa Lash & Spa is another child to me. I put blood, sweat, tears, and prayers into my business. I’m soooooo blessed to say I’ve ran a business successfully for 5 consecutive years! Not many people can say that. & none of this would be possible if it wasn’t for God first & my clients immediately after!! It’s been several times my clients have spoken life into me & prayed for me when I felt like giving up. Complete STRANGERS made all of this possible. Not family or friends even tho I do have support from them. But strangers who believed in my dream!
