Each season has three variations.

Autumn will always be warm, but we can change the value (lightness/darkness) and chroma (brilliancy/saturation/mutedness). And when we change one property, it changes the other.

True Autumn looks best in warm, dark, saturated colors.

Warm Autumn looks best in warm, slightly lighter, slightly brighter colors.

Soft Autumn looks best in warm, muted, lighter colors.

True Autumn is warm, dark and saturated.

So can you change your season?

Absolutely. But, when we change your hair color to a different season, you’ll also want to change clothing and makeup colors to create harmony.

BUT! If you’re cool (Winter/Summer) you’ll want to stick with cool. And if you’re warm (Autumn/Spring) you’ll want to stick with warm.

So she’s a Summer (cool) by nature. And we made her hair copper. But isn’t copper warm?!?
