Lately my heart has been so heavy for the younger generation. Especially Junior High & High School girls.

I know how hard it is to be so young and already questioning yourself, struggling with peer pressure, trying to fit in, unsure of your home life, getting into trouble at school, detentions, fights, anger, sadness… sometimes even seeing kids ending up in handcuffs before they even fully know who they are yet.

These years are sacred. They are supposed to be filled with memories, growth, laughter, friendships, self-discovery, and becoming. And instead, so many of these kids are carrying pain way too young.

I always tell the younger girls who sit in my chair to focus on themselves, stay involved, stay creative, and pour into who THEY are so they don’t grow up feeling like they lost the best years of their lives to survival mode, drama, or trying to be accepted by people who never truly saw them.

I truly believe with support, guidance, encouragement, accountability, kindness, and love… we can add value back into these kids’ lives and remind them they matter. 🩷

So this “School’s Out Special” is deeper than nails for me.

It’s my small way of pouring back into our youth and letting these girls know:
you are seen,
you are valued,
you are capable,
and your story matters.

No matter how hard-headed, misunderstood, emotional, lost, angry, anxious, or unsure they may be… sometimes kids just need someone safe to relate to. Someone who’s lived through trauma, life curveballs, heartbreak, mistakes, and STILL made something of themselves.

We all have a story.
And I want to hear theirs with no judgment. 🫶🏼💕
