Some of the advice women with PCOS/PMOS hear the most is exactly what leaves them feeling misunderstood.

“Just eat less and move more.”
“You're just tired because you're not active enough.”
“Just lose weight and your hormones will balance.”
“Go on birth control and you'll be fine.”

Sound familiar?

Here's what I wish more women understood...

PCOS isn't simply an ovarian issue. It's a complex endocrine and metabolic condition that can involve insulin resistance, androgen imbalances, inflammation, and disrupted ovulation.

And when your body is navigating those challenges, the same one-size-fits-all advice doesn't always address what's actually happening beneath the surface.

✨ You can prioritize protein without starving yourself.
✨ You can move your body without pushing through exhaustion.
✨ You can support your metabolic health without obsessing over the scale.
✨ You can rest without feeling guilty.
✨ You can ask questions and advocate for yourself when something doesn't feel right.

And yes, nutrition, movement, and sometimes medications can make a meaningful difference. But you deserve an individualized approach, not another blanket recommendation.

As a Functional Hormone Specialist, one of my biggest passions is helping women better understand their hormones, metabolic health, and the factors influencing how they feel.

Because you deserve more than being told to just deal with it.

Which piece of advice are you most tired of hearing? Drop it in the comments. 👇

Save this for the days you need a reminder that your health journey doesn't have to look like everyone else's.

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I have something for you! 💗

Ladies, let's talk about something that deserves our attention all year long: our breast health.

When was the last time you really took the time to understand your breasts? Not just checking for lumps, but learning how your hormones, menstrual cycle, breast density, and everyday health habits fit into the bigger picture?

As women, we're often so busy taking care of everyone else that our own health gets pushed to the back burner.

That's one of the reasons I created my Love Your Breasts Guide! 💕

This educational resource was designed to help you feel more informed, confident, and empowered when it comes to understanding and advocating for your breast health.

🌸 Here's what's inside:

✨ Breast self-awareness and what to look for

✨ Breast changes you shouldn't ignore

✨ Understanding hormones and breast health

✨ Nutrition and lifestyle practices that support overall wellness

✨ Gentle breast lymphatic massage information

✨ Understanding mammograms, ultrasounds, MRIs, and thermography

✨ What breast density means and why it matters

✨ A monthly breast health tracker to help you document changes and questions

My hope is that this guide encourages you to become more familiar with your body, ask questions, stay current with recommended screenings, and feel confident advocating for yourself.

Because breast health awareness isn't just for October. It's for every season of womanhood. 💗
