Here’s what you need to know about layers ⬇️

✂️ Layers DO NOT necessarily add VOLUME to the hair. They can aid in adding volume when combined with the right styling routine (round brushing, hot rollers, etc) but simply cutting layers into the hair doesn’t provide instant volume.

✂️ Layers DO NOT make the hair THICKER. Layers have the opposite effect and remove thickness. If you have extremely thin hair and maintaining maximum thickness is your #1 priority, then skip the layers. But if you desire more volume to your overall style, layers COMBINED with styling for volume will be best for you.
