2023 is still going but I’m calling it right now! Yes, the movie is coming out, however, this should probably be added to high school or college reading lists. The story is THAT important!
The Osage Indians in Oklahoma are being murdered after finding a HUGE cachet of oil on land they were relocated to. . . Who’s doing it??? And while the “why” is probably obvious, it’s not that simple.
This is non fiction. It’s a true story, and again, so so soooo important for everyone to know!! Truth will always be stranger than fiction.
Im still in such awe of the writing and research that went into this. The other rad thing is I’ve been to Pawhuska multiple times and while reading had a clear picture of the town and where particular situations happened.

Unpopular opinion . . MOST health problems can be solved by eating the correct food.
Beyond that, food is the absolute best way to dive into a different culture. and I prefer to let our bartender or waiter pick what we eat. It’s fun to see their face light up and be excited to share their favorite meal.
I can’t wait to get back to the PNW. For all that I learned over the weekend, there’s still sooooo much I don’t know!
