Happy Boss Day! 🎉 Today I’m celebrating the boss who answers DMs at midnight, mixes formulas like potions, and still gets emotional at every reveal. (That’s me. I’m the boss. 😅)
A few years ago I had a big salon, a big team, and a big decision to make. I chose to start over, small and intentional, and built The Alma Project around what I love most: the art, the trust, and the people in my chair. 💛

Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is let go. 🦋
A few years ago, I had what looked like the dream: my own 8-chair salon. But behind the scenes, the daily pressure was taking more from me than it was giving. I started to dislike something I had always loved.
Selling it was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made, and one of the best. It wasn’t a failure. It was me choosing my peace, my creativity, and my mental health over holding on to something just because I had built it.
Letting go made room for The Alma Project, a space built with intention, aligned with who I am, where I get to fall in love with my craft every single day.
If you’re holding on to something that no longer feels like you, this is your sign: your well-being is not negotiable. Resilience isn’t only pushing through. Sometimes it’s knowing when to walk away so better things can find you. ✨

A veces lo más valiente que puedes hacer es soltar. 🦋
Hace unos años tenía lo que parecía el sueño: mi propio salón de 8 sillas. Pero detrás de cámaras, la presión diaria me estaba quitando más de lo que me daba. Empecé a perder el amor por algo que siempre había amado.
Venderlo fue una de las decisiones más difíciles de mi vida, y una de las mejores. No fue un fracaso. Fue elegir mi paz, mi creatividad y mi salud mental, en vez de aferrarme a algo solo porque yo lo había construido.
Soltar le abrió espacio a The Alma Project, un lugar creado con intención, alineado con quien soy, donde me vuelvo a enamorar de mi oficio todos los días.
Si estás aferrada a algo que ya no se siente como tú, esta es tu señal: tu bienestar no es negociable. La resiliencia no es solo aguantar. A veces es saber cuándo soltar para que lleguen cosas mejores. ✨
