Life Happened!
Brokeness, change & growth happens. .
Today I threw away "My Butler". Many or maybe a few of you remember how special he was to me. First thing I bought when I opened my salon HeadsUp in 1998. He watched over us. He reminded me daily to strive serving you with excellence, with heart.
Thank You for many years of loyalty and familyship, whether I do ur hair or not. Whether you "like" this post or not. 😊

Who doesn't love basking in the Sun and a glowing bronze suntan. Unfortunately I saw my mother's skin at age 55 decline rapidly because of a lifetime of unprotected sun. Many people ask about my tan. It's not from the sun. Ssshhh...🤫
I have SPF 60+ sunscreen on when I'm outside, damage can't be reversed.
I spent years perfecting my tanner, trying many otc, mixing, changing....
Then 7 yrs ago I blended the best natural looking, shimmery, immediate, lasting and easiest to apply self tanner. Its my foundation replacement as well.

Hi! So it's been a month since my PRP & Prolotherapy injections. It's awesome to have really good days with manageable to no pain. Alot of days still not so much. Dr said great news, but I will need more. Im having another round in 3 wks. Yay!!

Many of you know the salons reopen tomorrow...Finally!!! 🎊
Unfortunately I don't get to go back to work...just yet.
I'm home anxiously awaiting news about hip replacement surgery. Pain is now a constant level 8-10. God is my stronghold, my comforter!! He'll open a door.
💜 The girls at Hairbenders will be busy with their clients for a good while. Be patient. Colleen, my room buddy, has opportunity sooner to serve my client~family!
I trust her. I trust all of them with your Hair and Heart!
After surgery I will most likely be out 3-4 wks rehabing. I know what recovery asks of me. I'm ready.Your prayers and encouragement I hold dear. Know I miss y'all.

😁Happy Bang Trim Friday Sistafriends. Yes, Finally!
Can't upload video as hoped.
Pics will show technique.
*Section out pie shape with slightly damp" hair.
*Begin in the center with a small 1 inch section.
Add-in sides at a slight angle. *Technique: "Point cut" up into hair, NOT STRAIGHT across, but at an angle using "slight" tension.
*Blow out, check it out. Nice job!!

Here's an easy finish on longer hair! Big pincurls using long Bobby pins or long cutting clips. Dampen sections & leave up while trimming, then blow-dry... Take down, shake out, hairspray.
Simple and BeautiFull !!!
