The Watercolor Way

Settle into a slow, coastal rhythm and explore the gentle art of watercolor in The Watercolor Way—a workshop designed to help you build confidence, develop technique, and create pieces that feel serene, expressive, and deeply personal.

You’ll begin with basic drawing skills that make watercolor easier and more intentional—simple shapes, clean lines, and quick studies that help you understand form before you ever pick up your brush. From there, you’ll move into a series of mini subject studies inspired by the coast: ocean‑water textures, lighthouses, shells, crabs, lobsters, and other shoreline motifs.

With guidance from your instructor, you’ll select one or two favorites to develop further, transforming your sketches into a more detailed watercolor piece. This workshop is all about layering skills—learning how to draw with clarity, paint with confidence, and build a composition that feels like a little escape.

You’ll leave with:
Several miniature watercolor studies
The beginnings of a larger masterpiece you can continue at your own pace
An ocean of knowledge of drawing and watercolor techniques you can use again and again

A peaceful, creative coastal journey—perfect for beginners and those ready to deepen their watercolor practice.

You’ll start by designing a set of custom coasters using simple, approachable painting techniques—think bright citrus slices, watermelon vibes, berry bursts, or any design your imagination is craving right now. Summer fruit is our muse, but your personal style is always welcome.

Then comes the magic moment: you’ll learn how to mix and pour resin to seal your artwork into a glossy, durable finish that’s as beautiful as it is practical. It’s the perfect blend of art and design—playful, modern, and totally gift‑worthy.

No experience needed. Just bring your creativity and get ready to dive into a workshop that feels like sunshine for your artistic side.

Stack and Style Jewelry Making

Mix, match, bead, and chill in our Stack and Style Jewelry Hangout for tweens and teens. Participants will spend the morning designing their own custom jewelry with tons of colors, charms, and styles to choose from.

An instructor will be on hand to demonstrate new techniques and assist with materials while also allowing for the laid back vibe that teens are looking for on a summer's day.

Designed to be budget friendly for an indoor summer activity, all supplies are included and participants can create to their hearts' content during the workshop. Complimentary pre-packaged snacks will be provided or they can bring their own. Drinks are available for purchase, if desired.

So roll them out of bed, pick up their friend and bring them over to the studio for a morning of summer crafting and creating jewelry together.

Dive into a day full of creativity and ocean‑inspired fun. Our shelves will be stocked with tons of ocean‑themed pottery and canvas designs—think sea turtles, dolphins, mermaids, waves, shells, and all the deep‑blue favorites kids love.

To celebrate World Ocean Day, we’re also offering free ocean‑themed crafts for all ages. Just drop in, choose a project, and let your imagination swim.
