A prayer for those going through hardships with the high waters on the East coast.
by Father Archimandrite Nektarios Serfes.

Lord help us Your struggling creation as the high waters have come into my home, at the place I labor, the place of my neighbor, and as the water rises we must seek to wait for help.

Help us dear Lord and take the water away so that we might live onward and help our families and neighbors.

We are perishing with hardly any food, and when it's night so we can find our way we as we have hope in You to watch over us and preserve us my Lord and my God!

Some of my neighbors have perished from the high waters more than five feet and climbing -which is too much for our dear children and all of us!

Keep us Lord in the beauty of Your creation and watch over us as your blessings will keep us safe.

Bless us all good Lord!
