I don’t usually share anything personal in my posts but I have some big news. My family & I are traveling to Uganda in January!

We will be gone for two weeks and while we are there we will work with a local organization called Light Africa to help educate kids about health and safety issues in their community. We will also have the opportunity to spend time playing and interacting with all the kids when they are out of class. I am so excited to share this experience with my children and see how it shapes their lives going forward.

We are traveling with 7 others and as a team we are trying raise $36,000 to cover the cost of the trip. If you are interested in supporting our family I included a QR code on the second slide.

Shaggy bangs! If anyone asks me if they can pull off bangs- my answer is always a resounding YES! Bangs are so flattering, especially with curly hair that is always falling forward and curling awkwardly around your face. Doesn’t this cut look so cute on her?!
