Hello Ladies:
Hope you are all well. I am sending you this email to share my new policies for re-opening Bella Farfalle Nail Studio. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you,
Patty~
DEAR GUESTS OF BELLA FARFALLE NAIL STUDIO:
I am so excited to re-open and welcome all of you back to Bella Farfalle Nail Studio. With that, I need to communicate to you the new guidelines set forth by The Central District Health and CDC.
All of our health and safety is my top priority. I will take all necessary precautions to protect us all.
I will notify you immediately if I have been around anyone who is sick or if I feel sick in any way. I will take my own temperature every morning.
As usual, I will disinfect all my tools after each use and clean tools will be put into a new, clean sealed plastic baggy ready for the next service.
There will be a ½ hour break after each appointment to clean and disinfect my studio.
I will provide disposable towels at my workstation and will disinfect the chair and table or pedicure area after each client.
I will wear gloves and a face covering at all times.
I will be cleaning and disinfecting the bathroom and all the touchable surfaces, (i.e. door k***s, light switches, bathroom sink and faucet k***s etc.)
Social distancing will be observed, so please do not bring anyone with you to your appointment.
Please wait in your vehicle if you are early for your appointment. I will text you when I am ready for you to come in.
CDC recommends that everyone 2 years and older should wear a cloth face covering over their mouth and nose when in a community setting.
Please wear a face covering for your services at Bella Farfalle Nail Studio. I cannot provide one for you.
Your temperature will be taken with a no contact thermometer at the door. If you have any kind of elevation of over 99 your appointment will be rescheduled for two weeks in the future.
Also, I will ask you the following questions:
Have you had a cough?
Have you been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the last 14 days?
Are you living with anyone who is sick or quarantined?
Any client who is sick or experiencing symptoms cannot enter the studio until they are cleared by a doctor or medical provider. Please try to cancel your appointment in advance if you are sick or have been in contact with anyone who is sick.
CDC encourages guests to please leave anything that can’t be carried on your person (no coats/vest, gloves, hats, purses, laptops, iPads) in your car or at home.
Please have your check or payment ready before your appointment. Please put any cash (exact change) or checks in the basket at my table. I prefer not to take any credit card payments at this time unless they are contact-less. I do have Apple Pay or Venmo.
Please go directly to the restroom where I have nail brushes and soap to wash your hands for 20 seconds (sing the Happy Birthday Song twice, at normal speed :-} ). Please use the nail brush to clean under your fingernails.
I will do my best to provide you with excellent customer service. And I hope that you can abide by these policies in order to continue to receive services at Bella Farfalle Nail Studio.
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. As we are all navigating through these strange and difficult times. If you have any questions please let me know. For your information, I have provided links to the CDC and Central District Health.
Respectfully and sincerely yours,
Patty~

Hello to my wonderful clients and friends:
Due to Governor Little’s “Stay at Home Order”
It is with a heavy heart 💔 that I have to let all my wonderful clients know that Bella Farfalle Nail Studio will close effective immediately until April 20th. All appointments that are on my books as of April 20 and beyond will be re-evaluated at that time. I will be in touch with you individually to reschedule your appointments.
Please stay healthy so that we can see each other again. As I am going to miss our fun girlfriend time. Please take care if your hands and feet. Keep your nails clean and moisturized, use your cuticle oil everyday! I’m going to miss you. And while I’m closed I’ll be practicing my nail art so that we can have fun with your nails when we get back together again. 😘
To all my wonderful loyal clients:
Hello Ladies!
Just a quick note to say that I am still open for your nail services... in light of our current circumstances and to protect all of our health, I have put some new sanitation policies into affect.
They are as follows;
1. Please remove your shoes before you come into my home. And leave them outside on the porch.
2. Please step into the restroom to wash your hands thoroughly before you take your seat for your services.
3. I will be sanitizing all surfaces and providing clean towels before and after each service.
4. If you are feeling sick in ANY way, or know that you may have been in contact with anyone that has recently traveled or may have been exposed, please let me know as soon as possible so that we may reschedule your appt.
Thank you for your understanding. As I want to keep ALL of us healthy! ❤️

Just a few of my latest...
I have had client ask me if “nails was all I did”
“Are nails all you do?”
Yes, I tailor each application to each individual client. That may mean applying gel polish and curing two nails at a time for the arthritic client who rolls her fingers outward. It’s taking extra time to separately cure a client’s thumbs because of the way her hands sit in the light.
Yes, I recreate nail art my clients find on social media on the spot, without practice before hand.
Yes, I blend and layer polishes together when a client can’t find something they like.
Yes, I reapply your polish after you stub your toe.
Yes, I understand the scientific relationship between a client’s nail health, and the various products I offer.
Yes, I counsel a nail biter/picker when she’s had a stressful week and improperly removed her gel, and bloodied her skin.
Yes, I’m trained to identify nail diseases, fungus, and skin cancer. I can even recognize signs of domestic abuse.
Yes, I use sharp implements and an e-file responsibly, taking care to not cause injury and damage the natural nail.
Yes, I’m constantly surrounded by chemicals.
Yes, I’m a microbiologist. I’m well versed in sanitation, disinfection, and sterilization protecting you from bacteria and viruses.
Yes, I’ve ruined countless tools by underestimating chemical reactions, and subsequently causing oxidation. But I’ve replaced them all to keep you safe, and do my job as well as possible.
Yes, I accommodate your last minute bookings, and remove product from somewhere else that you now regret going to.
Yes, I form friendships with my clients, using all of my energy on them, and absorbing their attitudes.
Yes, I work from my first to my last client, at least five days a week.
Yes, I often miss lunch, and cram snacks in between clients. I may skip bathroom breaks to run on time.
Yes, I use my “vacation” days to attend continuing education. My “time off” is spent exploring new techniques and products.
But I’m just your nail girl. Nails are “all” I do.
