👁️ Eyelash extensions look different on every eye because of their eye shape and eyelashes. I could apply the same style on 2 people and they would look different. That’s what’s so fun about extensions, is that they are personalized to fit YOU!
🐛 Eyelash extensions do not mean caterpillar eyes. Meaning that they have to be super full and dark. That is the look that some people LOVE but we also understand that it isn’t for everybody. I recommend going through a lash artist beauty page and finding if the looks they give match the look you want.
👁️ Eyelashes don’t damage your eyelashes if applied correctly. Do your research to find a lash artist that does clean work and isn’t going to cause damage to your eyelashes.
🌱Your first time can be a little scary when you open your eyes because it’s a brand new look you may have never seen on your eyes before especially the fuller you go. I always recommend staring at yourself in the mirror, a lot! You get used to them with time and some people even end up wanting more.
💝 You are going to LOVE them! Everybody who starts getting them can’t stop because of how pretty and convenient they are. they save you so much time and make you feel pretty from the moment you wake up to when you go to bed. You even sleep looking pretty! 😅 They’re amazing and you won’t want to take them off.

5 Things I Wish I Knew As A Beginner Lash Artist

✨Understanding My Adhesive & Environment
I wish I would have taken the time during my courses to ask more questions and really hyper focus on this section of my trainings. Understanding your adhesive, how it works, and what can affect it will help you resolve so many of the issues you may encounter when you go back home and start working. Your adhesive should always be working for you, not your working for it.

✨ The Importance of Taking Care of My Eyesight
I wish I would have used glasses/mags/ etc from the beginning. Just because you have good vision doesn’t mean you should over stress your eyes.

✨There Are Different Methods to Achieve the Same Result
Do what works for you! Take any tip, trick, method that you find and try it! That’s the beauty of this industry! As long as you are lashing safely and not damaging the natural lashes, there are no rules.

✨ The Goal Isn’t To Be The Fastest
The goal isn’t to be known as “the artist that gets clients out the door fast.” Take pride in your work and know that it’s okay to take your time. Clients will appreciate it in the long run and retention will be so much better.

✨ Everybody I Look Up To Was Once In My Shoes
Reality is, you are going to be hard on yourself when you are starting something new but it’s important to remember that you have to start somewhere. There is so much happening all at once but with every appointment you are gaining experience and working your way towards your goals. Be patient with yourself! ♥️

In February I flew to Florida to spend a weekend with Sarah from and became an Eyelash Extension Educator. It was the best experience I could’ve asked for! This is me, finally doing an introduction because I realized that since I started doing lashes 4 years ago 🙀 I have never posted a picture of me on my page! Whoops! 😅 Truth is, if it isn’t a selfie I usually am so awkward in front of a camera and end up hating all the pictures in the end.
Anyways! My name is Keila and I am based out of small town Wendell,Idaho. I have been specializing in lashes since I started my esthetician journey in 2017.

This year I had sooo many highs and a few lows but it has probably been my favorite year yet. I got to
travel around to a few different places ✈️, I won Best Lash Tech in the Magic Valley 🎉, and I feel like I finally started to gain more confidence in the person that I am and the person that I want to be- and it feels pretty great.

As the year comes to an end I just want to thank the girls that have stayed so loyal to me. You truly all have a special place in my heart.
Thank you for letting me be a part of your journey in life as we all are just trying to figure it out. Every time you confided in me with your secrets, your family problems, your announcement of your pregnancies, your hard confessions of your struggles with fertility, your accomplishments, and your failures. When you needed advice or somebody just to listen, or when you just needed a good ass lash nap because life was just too exhausting. I am truly thankful for the trust that you have in me and the desire to keep coming to me. ♥️
