This was a fun transition and I think we killed it! She started out with beast orange and had a beautiful weft that we color matched! Overall we nailed the color, got rid of the orange and made her hair look flawless! We did a moisturizing masque to promote hydration and her hair feel absolutely amazing even after a lifting project! Never forget to do a treatment when you go to the salon!

School is back and who’s a better feature than my own mini human?! She went with a whole new look this year and is ready to take on 3rd grade!

Wow. Okay. So here we go. It’s a long post, but so is my journey🫶🏻

I just had an incredible weekend. If you didn’t know, I worked so extremely hard to win a trip to Portland for an HPSA convention. I didn’t know what to expect except that I’d learn about business and leadership. And I can’t begin to describe how magical it felt. I learned so much more about me, about my team, and of course about leadership.

Im so beyond grateful for my boss and friend Crystal and my lead and friend Heather for believing in me and for spoiling me and being there for me when I’m hard on myself. I feel so much closer after this weekend and i’m happy we got to do this together.

HPSA is so extremely incredible and now i’m just addicted to their culture and everything they’re about. All of the leaders are so inspiring and Jason is such an inpirational person and it was a honor to meet him. Not to mention I met some amazing new friends and stylists. I absolutely cannot wait to get back to the salon and implement some of these qualities I’ve found in myself and also some fun new ways to improve on our business.

I found Madril in 2018 and left in 2021. In a lot of ways I was being hard on myself because I just felt that I just made the dumbest decision of my life leaving but I know in my heart I had to leave to learn what I had over those years. To grow and to come back a new stylist and person. And in so many ways it was better than if I had stayed. Im happy to be home and to be SEEN and to be believed in so strongly.

I cannot wait to continue to grow, learn and be a part of such an incredible salon.
