Hi everyone😊 I just wanted to hop on here today to wish you all a happy hot Friday, and remind all of you that we have an amazing on-line scheduling service. It is quick, safe and very efficient. It is on all of our social media contacts, and I highly recommend using this service. It also has a place to leave a note for your stylist. For example: (I want curtain bangs, but not a full haircut, so I didn’t know what to book;)) You can also let your stylist know things like, I booked a Balayage’, but I have not had my hair done in 2years. These notes are helpful at booking. The answering machine at the salon has been flooded with calls the last 2 months, (so grateful💓) and I want to make sure you all remember you have 24hr. access to our booking service. Thank you all so much🤍

So blessed and extremely grateful to all of the people who are supporting my small business. We will be celebrating 3yrs this summer. I get asked a lot of questions about how I came up with the name, how I decorate, and an amazing amount of compliments on how peaceful the Salon is. I am going to start sharing my story publicly, in hopes that I can inspire others to never give up on your dreams. (and also to hold myself accountable for being for active on social media, and to get involved more in our community)

Today’s share: The White Tulip Salon’s name came to me in a dream. After having a conversation with my Uncle about my dream, he told me that tulips were my Grandma Bostrom’s favorite flower, (along with the Venetian violet, and bleeding hearts) and after some giggles about how these other 2 flowers didn’t exactly have the same feeling as the tulip did, I decided on the name.
The White Tulip Salon, and it was the beginning. It wasn’t until about a year and a half later that I had another dream, and I saw the little tulip that is in the name. My friend Tyler sat with me for what seemed to be hours, until I saw it again. The neon sign in the window of the salon facing Boise Ave is exactly how I saw it in my dream. The name was created and I had a lot of help bringing it to life. A very loyal base clientele’, who believed in my vision, my Mom, and my Uncle that continually and most of all genuinely offered loving guidance, humor, and good advice. This was the beginning, it all starts with a vision and a gut feeling, and then you give it a name. 😊🤍
