How can it already be the last week of August! Hope everyone’s first few days of school has been great! We are just about a month away from bidding farewell. You may have seen a post this past week with the announcement that at the end of September, Rustic Chic 22 Salon will be closing. I wanted to share more about The Hair Saloon. I’m headed to Altoona, 305 1st Ave S, right in Old Town. I will be in an independent suite, inside Style by Desiree.

Your appointment at The Hair Saloon won’t be too different. You can expect the same great service, with a relaxing experience.

Now, the back story of the name. My husband’s grandpa John would ask every time he saw me, “How’s the Saloon doing”. I knew when this opportunity arose, I had to call it The Hair Saloon. Sure do miss that guy!

I will share updates the closer the shift comes! I’m so excited for this and can’t wait to share it with all of you! Thank you for your support and confidence!

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of Rustic Chic 22 Salon in Bondurant. Our last day open for operation will be September 29th, 2023.

After many years of providing exceptional hair care services, it is time for us to bid farewell. We want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who have supported us throughout this incredible journey.

While the business itself is dissolving, stylists will continue to work independently. If you are a current or future client of mine, Jess Allen, I will be moving to a suite in Altoona. The Hair Saloon is located at 305 1st Ave S. My number will remain the same, 712-210-0105.

Rustic Chic 22 Salon was built upon a foundation of passion, creativity, and a commitment to delivering personalized experiences. We took immense pride in helping you look and feel your best, and we cherished the relationships we formed with each client.

Thank you once again for your loyalty, trust, and support over the years. It has been an honor to be a part of your lives, and we hope that the memories we’ve shared together will be cherished for years to come.

Big time change! Chopped off about 6 inches and brightened the highlights.

If you’ve been in lately, and I’ve asked for you to prebook your next appointments, I’m doing it for you!

I am so very grateful with the influx of new clients I’ve gained lately. My established clients have also been so loyal and keeping me so very busy as well, and I can’t thank you all enough.

With that being said, it is becoming harder for me to get you in within a couple weeks. Currently, my May evenings and Saturdays are books. June evenings are nearly full as well! Saturdays in June are very sparse but I do have a couple appointments left.

And OH MY GOSH, school isn’t even out yet, but I’m already pre booking people for back to school!

Happy March! Spring is just around the corner! I Don’t have a lot of openings left for the month, and an FULL for the week of Spring Break.

Also, please note I will be out of the salon a couple different cluster of days in April! I would recommend getting your appointments booked now so you get your first pick and not what I have left.
