I thrive on the freedom clients give me to unlock their hair's true potential. Far from doing whatever I want, I focus on crafting a style that perfectly balances personal flair with the client's lifestyle needs. When one of my clients came to me seeking a fresh start to eliminate her split ends, I saw an opportunity to transform her look. Given her rich, luscious locks that were weighed down by their own abundance, I chose the butterfly haircut. By layering her hair extensively, I was able to shed excess weight, unlock effortless movement, and define shape. To tackle her split ends head-on, I tailored the layers to be shorter than usual, removing a significant portion - about 70% - of the split ends. But my role didn't end there; I also empowered her with a personalized video tutorial on how to clip her hair, allowing her to achieve a salon-quality styles at home without resorting to using heat tools all the time. This collaborative approach didn't just result in a new look; it forged a lasting solution for her busy life.
