This moment right here reminded me of a hike me and my sister did 2 years ago. It was late in the afternoon but we decided to seized the light and climb to the top of the maintain and then this rusty contraption (it felt rather unsafe). But once we reached the top, OMG what an amazing view. This was definitely an unforgettable adventure.

Happy Birthday to my first born🎂🎂! I am honestly in awww of how much you have grown in height but mostly in character. Here are a few things to describe you: You are smart, quirky, beautiful, kind, thoughtful, a loving friend, advocate, argumentative like no other, playfulness is your middle name and you love to eat like your mama. There is so much more but I will leave it at this. I am a proud mama and can’t wait to see you grow into the agent of change I know you will be. Oh how I love this human🥰. My talented, independent, a d introvert of a child loves lacross, most of the time 😌. I love these two shots from last week’s practice. They show how dedicated Sam gets when their heart is into something. (I sure don’t see that when they doing chores at home 🤷🏾‍♀️😬).

Most of the time it’s hard for me to just be in the now, because I am usually thinking of the other 12 things I need to get done. But this is me trying to be in the now, enjoying the moment. Single, beautiful, healthy, though far from perfect or fulfilled but very blessed, and for that am thankful. Change your perspective when you are not sure about your where you are.
