This was one of those bridal looks where the goal wasn’t to add more - it was to refine what was already there.
Freckles still visible.
Skin that still looked like skin.
Soft, rosy warmth that felt sun-kissed and effortless.
Just enough definition to feel polished without ever crossing into overdone.
Exactly the kind of look that makes “me, but a little more polished” make perfect sense. 🤍
The goal was the same. The makeup was not.✨
All three bridesmaids wanted the same overall feel - a natural looking skin-first makeup with just enough definition to feel polished, effortless, and still completely like themselves.
But even with the same direction, the makeup should never be exactly the same.
Different features call for different placement.
Different skin tones need different tones and textures.
Different faces need different amounts of definition in different places.
That’s the part of makeup I love most - when it’s done well, it doesn’t feel formulaic. It feels personal.
Each look still felt soft, fresh, and completely true to the person wearing it. Just tailored a little differently for the face in front of me. 💖
