Certainly there’s an extreme end of vanity that’s unhealthy, and of course the acquisition of objects of beauty shouldn’t be the primary focus of one’s life, but to recognize, admire, and surround ourselves with beauty is actually a core human craving. So, if you’re someone with hang-ups around beauty, this is your invitation to examine and revise your programming. 🌻

Taking time to notice beauty is, at its core, an expression of gratitude. This week I encourage you to do at least one thing to beautify your life. Light a candle, book a massage in our beautiful spa, pick fresh flowers, and when you look in the mirror, be sure to appreciate the gorgeous reflection you see.

Lately, many of us have been carrying a lot of anger.

Sometimes it’s sparked by the state of the world, by injustice, division, cruelty, or uncertainty.

Sometimes it’s much closer to home: conflict in relationships, disappointments, obstacles, stress, exhaustion, unmet expectations, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life itself.

Our anger is often also laced with grief - and longing for how we want things to be.

Though many of us were raised to suppress our anger, or even fear it, anger can be powerful. It can help us access courage, and even hope.

But, the weight of our anger and grief can also paralyze us. Our goal at The Dragontree is to let you drop whatever you’re carrying, so you can go back out into the world renewed.

That’s the version of you who will be able to create more of what we need - more peace, more love, more understanding.
