Some journeys begin with tears, uncertainty, and the fear of not knowing what tomorrow will bring.
When we first arrived in America, we carried very little in our hands, but we carried a great deal of hope in our hearts—hope for a better life, hope for a brighter future for our children, and hope that through hard work and perseverance, we could build a new beginning.
And America opened its arms to us.
This country gave us the opportunity to start over, to live in freedom, to work with dignity, and to build a life through our own honest efforts. Here, every drop of sweat matters, and every dream is given a chance to grow.
But more than anything, what we are most grateful for is not only this beautiful country, but also the incredible people who call it home.
Thank you to the American people for welcoming us with kindness, compassion, and humanity. Thank you to those who smiled at us when we were strangers, who extended a helping hand when we were struggling, and who treated us not as outsiders, but simply as fellow human beings.
