Welcome to Summer in Montana!! Wedding season is upon us - and the Studio is in full swing 🩷 Over the past few months I have been put in a position to re-establish and make a few changes to my policies. It is not something I like to do but if my chair is empty, I’m not making money - and if I don’t make money, the Zoo may stage a coup - and chaos will ensue!! Think of the Zoo 🩷🤣😘

This weekend I had the honor of photographing the marriage between two amazing humans 🩷 The ceremony was perfect - surrounded by a small group of friends and family. The love between them is truly what stories are written about - and in the most spectacular winter scene up in Hyalite Canyon 🩵❄️ The necklace and bouquet (made by yours truly) blended with the feel that you would expect from a late February wedding in Montana. Necklace is Rainbow Quartz, Citrine, Freshwater Pearls, and faceted glass. Hair color and styling by your favorite hoot! It was a day to remember just how much love can guide us to the right place - the right moment. Congratulations you two - thank you for trusting me with your memories!!!

Our smallest and our biggest - Charlie is teaching Benny about all the good things in the Studio 🩷 and my clients are loving the BennyBear hugs!!!

These are heading in tomorrow morning!!

What they don’t tell us in Cosmetology school - that you will fall in love with your clients, that you will experience life through their eyes, that you will need to be strong for them at times, that there are really tough days that match the really good days, and that sometimes you’ll shave a peen on the back of their head! And you will laugh and laugh and cry and laugh some more!! This is one of the coolest ladies I have ever met and now call my friend - her chemotherapy has done what was predicted and so we put together a little group to bear witness and support her newest look. We did a little rendition of Weird Barbie, shaved it with a #2 guard, and as I promised her - carved one of my personal best peens on the back of her perfectly shaped head 🩷 then I took it down to no guard, handed off the clippers to her daughter to finish the cut, and shaped the edges. Megan you are an absolute rockstar and thank you for entrusting me with your journey!! Gorgeous through and through!!!!
