We currently have no power at the shop still. Hoping to get it back before Tuesday. Unfortunately we aren’t making appointments right now until we know the power is back on.

We will be closed Friday, October 11th and Saturday, October 12th due to power outage

Due to Hurricane Milton we will be closed Wednesday Oct 9 and Thursday Oct 10. There is a possibility of closure on Friday if we have no power. We will contact you if your appointment is canceled, assuming we have cell service. Thank you and be safe!

James Sellers Memorial will be held on
January 28th at 1:30 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses located at 1106 63rd Ave E, Bradenton, FL

Sadly we must announce that James Sellers passed away on January 4, 2023. He worked as a barber for over 50 years and purchased Oneco Barber Shop in 1977. He will be greatly missed by many.

We will be closed August 18th and 19th for some building maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Our upcoming schedule for the holidays is:

November 26th - 30th : CLOSED
December 24th - January 4th: CLOSED

We wanted to updated everyone on our current procedures during COVID-19:

•You need an appointment. Due to our extensive sanitation, it is in your best interest to have an appointment so you don’t have to wait very long to get your haircut. To make an appointment please call (941)-758-3672
•You must have a mask. If you do not have one we will provide you with one.
•When you arrive wait in your vehicle. We will call you on your cell phone or come out to your vehicle to let you know you can come inside.
•We ask that you try to pay by debit or credit card.
•We are taking temperatures and sanitizing hands of everyone who enters the shop.
•All stylists are wearing a mask when any client is in the shop and they are wearing gloves during your haircut. These gloves are changed for every single client.
•Our chairs are being sprayed with disinfectant after every client and it must dry for 15 minutes before we allow someone else in the chair.
•When grooming beards or any facial hair that requires the mask to be removed, we are wearing a face mask.
•We have removed the signature option for our debit/credit card machine.
•We are sanitizing commonly touched areas often.
•We are maintaining social distancing by having a barrier between all styling chairs that are not 6 feet apart.
•We only have three waiting chairs that are all 6 feet apart. These waiting chairs are only used for clients who must have someone assist them while in the shop (minors/ elderly with a helper). These chairs are sanitized after anyone sits in them.
•We keep a record of everyone who has entered the shop each day, in case we were to find out we were exposed to someone with COVID-19, we will call everyone who came in on the day of exposure to make them aware of our exposure.

We apologize if any of these procedures is an inconvenience to you. We care about all our clients and are trying to keep everyone as safe as possible.

We wanted to give everyone an update now that the governor has said the state will enter Phase One the reopening plan.

With that being said, no personal service businesses are allowed to open. That includes hair salons, barber shops, nail salons, and massage therapy. We do not have a reopen date at this point but we will inform you when we do. We will also have quite a few adjustments for when this does happen. We will have requirements that we, as professionals, must follow, and requirements that you, as clients will have to follow. Listed below will be a few of the new requirements, but this is not a complete list.

• Clients must wash hands when entering the building.
• Clients must have a mask otherwise the client will be required to hold a towel to their face the entire service
•Clients must have an appointment. We will be taking NO walk-ins. We realize this is a major adjustment. We will not being taking any appointments until we know when we will reopen. Appointments will be given to the clients who have waited the longest first.
•Clients can not bring a guest with them.
•Clients must wait in their car until their stylist lets them know they can come in.
•We will most likely have limited services, including no beard trims, no manicures, and no full pedicures.

We will be given more guidelines from the govenor the closer we get to reopening. We know these are major adjustments but we want to keep everyone safe and healthy.

Please feel free to call the shop and leave a voicemail, but we will not be returning any calls until we have a reopening date.
