A few days late to the New Year post… and honestly, that feels just right for me.
If that’s any indication of how this year will go, social media may not always come first—and I’m giving myself permission to be okay with that.

Looking back on this past year fills me with so much gratitude. We opened Blonde & Sew, launched an extensions line, and, most meaningfully, we were able to walk alongside so many women as they began to feel more like themselves again. That part will always be my favorite.

As much as I admire those who show up online every day, this year my heart is focused on showing up in real life—being present with my family, my clients, my friends, and the people right in front of me. I’ll still share here and there, because social media can be a beautiful way to connect, but it’s no longer where my worth or attention will live.

I’ve realized I’ve missed moments trying to keep up online, and I don’t want to miss the ones right in front of me anymore. It doesn’t mean I’m working less—it just means my priority is peace, presence, and people.

A gentle reminder for anyone who needs it: it’s okay to choose peace over money, and real life over the highlight reel. What matters most is usually happening quietly, off-screen.

Here’s to a new year filled with purpose, presence, and really good hair. ✨

This beautiful woman is not only my client, she’s my Pastor, my mentor and someone I look up to with my whole heart. To have the chance to serve her in this way has been such a gift.
