Neutralization transformation 💋

My client had a prominent hyperpigmentation band on the upper lip, creating a two-toned appearance. The goal was not to “cover” it, but to use color theory to balance and camouflage uneven tones for a more uniform lip canvas.

A warm red-based pigment blend was intentionally chosen for her first session to help neutralize and lift the cooler brown undertone. As the lips heal, the hyperpigmented area will appear softer, warmer, and more blended.

The bold redness you see immediately after is completely normal and part of the correction process — this will soften significantly during healing.

This is a layered treatment. We will continue refining tone and saturation at her next session to achieve her desired result ✨

♡ Post-Care Instructions

First Week:

Apply clean cold compress multiple times a day for 15 min. at a time
Keep lips clean with provided sterile water wipes
Keep lips moisturized with provided vitamin A&D healing ointment
Avoid spicy & messy foods
Lip Blush: Eat with a fork & drink out of a straw
Needle-less Lip Fillers: Do not drink out of straws. Continue taking Arnica supplements until healing is complete to help with bruising, pain, & swelling
Avoid direct contact with lips -- no kissing, oral s*x, picking, touching, rubbing, licking, biting, peeling, scratching, etc
Do not go swimming
First 2 Weeks:

Avoid excessive sun exposure. Wear a hat or mask to protect from UV rays if you need to be out in the sun
No saunas, tanning beds, steam rooms
Do not get any strong facials
Lip Blush: do not exfoliate lips
Continue to moisturize lips & stay hydrated
Failure to follow post-care instructions may lead to infection and poorly healed results. Additional sessions may be required to achieve desired results

♡ Pre-Care Instructions

One Month Prior:

No Botox/fillers on or around the treated area
No strong facials
Lip Blush & Lip Fillers must be done a minimum of 4 weeks apart from each other
One Week Prior:

Avoid excessive UV exposure
Moisturize lips with a hydrating lip balm
Gently exfoliate daily with a lip scrub (DIY lip scrub: 2 tsp. of sugar + 1 tsp. of honey or coconut oil)
Stay hydrated with 8 cups of water daily
Discontinue any daily vitamins/supplements to avoid excessive bleeding (please consult with your doctor first if you are taking them for medical purposes)
Two Days Prior:

No smoking, caffeine, alcohol, or blood thinners as it can cause excessive bleeding which will compromise the procedure
List of blood thinners (use Ctrl + F to search if any of the things you consume are blood thinners): coffee, tea, milk tea, pre-workout, energy drinks, multivitamins, B vitamins, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin K, magnesium, fish oil, gingko biloba, herbal supplements, Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Advil, turmeric, ginger, cayenne peppers, garlic, flax seeds
Excessive bleeding will compromise the procedure and you will be left with poorly healed results. If bleeding is too excessive, I will need to stop the procedure

♡ Appointments

No Guests — this includes children, spouses, and pets. If you wish to bring a translator, please let me know ahead of time
COVID-19 Vaccine — please schedule your appointment 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after your vaccine to avoid unwanted side effects
Reschedules — you may reschedule without losing your deposit up to 48 hours before your appointment. A maximum of 2 reschedules are allowed per service
Cancellations/No Shows — your $50 deposit will be forfeited. Another deposit will be required to re-book in the future
Late Policy — if you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled & your deposit will be forfeited. Please let me know if you are running late. I do my best to wait, but sometimes it is not possible if I have back-to-back clients that day
Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment to find parking
♡ Touch-Up Policy

Touch-ups are based on a time-tier, so make sure to book them accordingly to avoid additional charges
FREE 6-12 WEEK TOUCH-UP — the free touch-up for Lip Blush MUST be scheduled strictly within the 6-12 week time frame. A $50 deposit is required to secure your appointment, which will be refunded to you on the day of your appointment. If you fail to adhere to my policies, you may forfeit this deposit and will need to pay a non-refundable $50 deposit the next time you try to reschedule, along with any additional time-tier charges that may apply
