* I began my career in the beauty and hair industry 14 years ago.
* My commute to work on average is 1 1/2 hrs each way (by choice)
* I’m a Sonic Ice fanatic❣️
* I don’t hold back whatsoever when it comes to food and I never say no to wine 🍷 ☺️
• One thing that puts a Big smile on my face is going to bougie restaurants with the most gorgeous views or great atmosphere and just ordering a full table/ smorgasbord of appetizers just because it’s so colorful and delicious.
* I miss those👆monthly trips since my cousin/travel adventure bestie decided to move to New York! J/K Marie, I’m so happy you have an amazing job that’s made you a world wide traveler👏❤️
* My biggest flaw is I can never be early for anything and at best 5 min late🤦🏻‍♀️ but I can always promise to give you my best!
* My biggest life achievement is birthing and being a mom to six amazing Children. (5 girls, 1 boy)
* Five years ago, my three oldest daughters “promoted me” to a grandma. To date I’m a proud grandma of seven who all have the best mommy’s chosen to raise them😍❤️
* And lastly, just for fun because this is a little out of my comfort zone either because of my age (46) or because it feels like some dating app😭🤦🏻‍♀️ possibly 🤷🏻‍♀️ Idk, I’ve never been on one lol but I felt a need to challenge myself with this post. Who doesn’t love dimension! Working on fine hair doesn’t always mean you’ll get the look you want faster! Being strategic in placement and knowing the density you are working with is a little challenge I love when working with less hair as opposed to thick full hair❣️

Happy Sunday! Super Bowl Sunday to be exact! In the midst of our busy lives, don’t forget about self care and treating ourselves good! For me it was relaxing at home all day today and not feeling bad about it! 🙃🙌 But how about that half-time show?❣️ It was ahh-mazing!❤️

An oldie but still one that I love when my phone pops up with memories❣️ Here’s one from 2019! Dimensional color is my absolute favorite. This was just a toner session from her balayage/color correction I’d done 3 months prior. Point is, I LOVE love toner visits. For clients that ask why is a toner necessary, I always let them know a toner is a deposit only, ammonia-free color that either enhances or cancels an unwanted tone. The color is refreshed as if the balayage was done that day and it’s also good to fill the cuticle back in to help prevent dryness and or possible breakage from continued heat styling once the cuticle is exposed. Toner maintenance is key to keeping your balayage/highlights beautiful.

I told her it could possibly take multiple sessions to achieve the goal color she desired. But as said before everyone’s hair is different and we were happy it was achieved on this first time meeting my new client. A combination of foliage, baby lights, low lights and air balayage are my favorites for custom looks❣️
