Melissa writes, "I'm swallowing my pride and sharing my before and now photos with you. I'm only doing this to encourage anyone who is where I was in either the 1st or 2nd sets of photos. I want you to know that you CAN change your health and your life, just like I have. My story is complicated and long but here is cliffsnotes version:

One year ago, as we welcomed in 2012, I decided that I needed to lose the weight that I had not been able to lose for 14 years (since I had my youngest child). I started out just trying to eat healthier, and after about 3 months, had only lost 5 pounds. In March, a friend referred me to a health professional. My blood work looked okay as a whole, but my cholesterol was slightly high and my B-12 was very low. On March 28th (first photos), she started working with me, and helped me lose another 50 pounds over the next 5 1/2 months (2nd set of photos). At this point, I would have to continue to eat clean and try to lose more weight on my own. I needed to lose 30 more pounds to reach my goal weight. For the next 6 weeks, I stalled and even began to gain a few pounds back. I was determined not to let that happen. I was not giving in or giving up this time. That is when I ran across some health supplements on a page of a "friend". Jennifer had lost like 70 lbs., was eating clean, and so I decided to give them a try.

I've been taking these supplements for about 2 months now. I've lost 17 more pounds through the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years eating season!
