Hello! I just wanted to post as a reminder, that I will be out of the salon from September 25th through October 13th. My online booking is open and available for holiday appointments or appointments after I'm back. All emails and messages will be returned after October 11. I can't wait to catch up when I return!

Hello August! (wait, what?!?!)

Is it just me or did May/June/July go by in a blip??? 😲

And yet, here we are on the edge of returning to school and routine. While I do enjoy school supplies, I'm not sure I'm ready to get back to enforcing a bedtime.

I wanted to drop in to your inbox to remind you that I will be traveling in September/October and that will affect my availability.
8 weeks from now I'll be in the Meditteranean for 18 days! (Even typing it feels like a dream!). I will be OUT OF THE SALON from September 25 until October 14.

Oh my goodness, how glorious is this sunshine?!?

After all of this rain, one of my favorite moments is when the clouds clear and the sun returns and all of our gardens really burst! I'll be spending my day in my garden and I hope you get some time outdoors today as well.

I have a one opening left on Saturday June 7th at 1:30 with time for a haircut!
I also have a few scattered openings during the week if you need in before the weekend.

This is the time of year that we all find ourselves needing to adapt and adjust to a new rhythm... longer days, kids out of school and for me, camping! Memorial weekend is the start of it all and it's next week!

Welcome to May!

I have to be honest, April is a struggle for me. By the time it arrives I am SO READY for warm weather and it just simply is not! Lots of time spent "getting ready".... getting my garden ready, getting ready to camp, making the first summer plans.... but not much action. Now, it's MAY... and even though, as a Colorado native, I understand we aren't totally in the clear, the balance shifts. More sunshine. Longer days. Higher temperatures. Things are growing everywhere!

What's ahead?

Those who know me, know I am ready to get the camper on the side of a mountain and take the deepest breaths. My online calendar already reflects when I am not available. In July, I won't be working my usual first Saturday of the month (becuase of the 4th of July weekend) and will be in the studio all day on July 19 instead. I've also added a Saturday in September prior to our Europe trip!

Now is the time to get your appointments on the books for summer, believe it or not. My May and June Saturdays are already full and we all know that time goes faster when the sun is shinig (well, at least that's my personal belief)
