While using high quality wax is important, the ads I constantly see that are saying “waxers if your wax isn’t grabbing this much hair you need ours” are out of control.

The comments about switching to soft wax because it “grabs more hair” is frustrating too, why are we competing over hard and soft? If you’re skilled, you can use literally any type of wax and it’ll work amazing.

I can use the worst hard wax and still make it work. Is it going to be fun? Maybe not, but the wax you choose to use is just what should work for you and your technique.

Just because sally loves wax that dries as your laying it doesn’t mean Jessica will like it because she may work slower. That’s okay.

I teach technique and every little detail in my training course. 1:1 learning technique will help you perfect your skill so you can have your focus in the right place.

Like I said, you will get further with high quality wax yes, but it’s not everything. If you don’t know what you’re doing, you’ll blame the wax. If you become an expert, you’ll know what to do in every situation regardless of what you’re using.

I am an experienced speed waxer but EFFECTIVE. This is important. There’s a lot out there of other estheticians bragging about working slower because they aren’t rushing - insinuating that us speed waxers are rushing through and not getting hairs.
Now that may be the case for some people, but like I said, if you are SKILLED, you can be fast AND effective. It is very possible. I am living proof.

Let’s stop competing over who uses what and why estis are using this and doing that. Use what you use and perfect your skill with it.

1. I rarely EVER go over the knee pit or elbow pit more than once - technique is everything.
2. NEVER lay your tab or the start of your strip in these creases. This will most likely result in lifting and / or bruising.
