Gunfire erupted Saturday near a busy street festival in Ohio, wounding at least 12 people and sending some eventgoers scrambling for cover while others rushed to help the victims.

No suspects were in custody hours afterward, Toledo Deputy Police Chief Joe Heffernan said, and officials urged people who were at the festival to come forward with any photos or videos on their phones for possible leads.

The shooting happened near the Old West End Festival, an annual gathering of live music and home tours.

A father accused of killing the man charged with r*ping his 13 year old daughter is no longer facing a murder charge after a judge dismissed the case over mishandled evidence.

The case drew national attention after Aaron Spencer shot Michael Fosler in 2024. Fosler had been facing numerous charges related to the alleged s*xual abuse of Spencer's daughter.

In June 2026, an Arkansas judge dismissed the second degree murder charge, ruling that law enforcement lost a key piece of evidence that could have been important to the defense. The missing evidence was a memory card from a police vehicle camera.👨🏼‍⚖️

DAY 2 OF KARMELO ANTHONY MURDER TRIAL: Jurors Hear From First Responders, Police Officers, and Student Witnesses

The second day of testimony in the murder trial of Karmelo Anthony gave jurors a detailed look at both the immediate aftermath of the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf and the moments leading up to it.

Anthony is charged with murder in connection with the April 2, 2025 stabbing at a track meet in Frisco, Texas. He has pleaded not guilty, and the defense maintains he acted in self-defense.

The day began with testimony from Frisco firefighter Neal Adams, who responded to Kuykendall Stadium after the stabbing. Adams testified that when first responders arrived, Austin was unresponsive. He described finding him with fixed and dilated pupils, no pulse, no respirations, and gray skin. As photographs from the scene were shown to jurors, Austin’s parents became emotional in the courtroom.

Jurors later heard from Frisco Police Officer Eduardo Cortez, one of the first officers to encounter Anthony after the stabbing. Cortez testified that he ordered Anthony to raise his hands, placed him in handcuffs, and conducted a pat-down search. According to Cortez, after being told he was being detained, Anthony responded, “I’m not alleged, I did it.”

The jury was also shown body camera footage from Anthony’s detention. According to testimony, Anthony could be heard crying and telling officers, “I told him not to put his hands on me.”

During cross-examination, defense attorneys emphasized that Anthony complied with officers, did not resist, did not struggle, and was not attempting to flee.

Cortez also testified that Anthony had a small amount of blood on one finger and confirmed that weapons are prohibited on school property.

Another responding officer, Jacob Shalz, testified that he located the knife alleged to have been used in the stabbing approximately 3 to 4 rows above the crime scene in the stadium bleachers. Jurors were shown photographs of the folding knife, which appeared to have blood on it, as well as Anthony’s backpack. Both items were entered into evidence.

One of the most emotional moments of the day came when prosecutors played body camera footage showing paramedics performing CPR on Austin Metcalf. Jurors watched first responders attempt to save the teenager’s life while students could reportedly be heard crying in the background. Austin’s mother and father were visibly emotional as the footage was played.

The prosecution then shifted its focus to eyewitness testimony from students who were present near the Memorial High School tent when the confrontation occurred.

One witness testified that Anthony had entered Memorial’s team tent and remained there despite being asked multiple times to leave. According to the witness, Anthony responded to requests by saying, “Touch me and find out.”

The witness testified that tensions escalated after Austin continued asking Anthony to leave. He stated that Anthony had one hand inside his backpack and that several students believed he was bluffing when he repeatedly referenced having something in the bag.

According to the witness, Austin eventually approached Anthony and placed both hands on his shoulders. The witness testified that Anthony then pulled a knife from his backpack and stabbed Austin in the chest.

That same witness told jurors that Austin’s brother, Hunter Metcalf, was not involved in the confrontation. He also disputed suggestions that multiple students had surrounded Anthony and testified that Anthony was the one provoking the situation.

Another witness described the moments immediately after the stabbing. He testified that Austin fell backward onto the bleachers before standing up, lifting his shirt, and seeing blood on his chest. According to the witness, Austin repeatedly said, “I think I got stabbed.”

Several student witnesses testified that chaos erupted immediately afterward and that no one expected the confrontation to turn violent.

A 16-year-old student-athlete testified that the day had seemed normal until Anthony entered the Memorial tent. According to his testimony, Austin repeatedly asked Anthony to leave, while Anthony continued refusing. The witness said Anthony challenged Austin to touch him and repeatedly referenced having something in his backpack.

That witness testified that Austin eventually touched Anthony in an effort to move him. He described the contact as non-aggressive and told jurors that Austin did not appear interested in fighting.

When prosecutors asked whether Austin’s actions appeared aggressive, the witness replied, “Not aggressive like it would hurt him. He was trying to move him.”

The witness further testified that, in his opinion, the stabbing was not self-defense and that Anthony had been provoking the confrontation.

Another Memorial High School student testified that he observed the interaction and recalled hearing Anthony say, “Touch me and see what happens.” He told jurors that Austin appeared to be attempting to get Anthony to leave the tent and that Anthony had one hand inside his backpack during the encounter.

The student testified that Austin touched Anthony on the shoulder before the stabbing occurred and stated that he did not believe Austin was trying to hurt him.

A recent Frisco Liberty High School graduate also took the stand. She testified that she heard commotion coming from the Memorial tent and recalled hearing Anthony say words to the effect of, “If you wanted me to move, you’d have to move me.”

She testified that Austin did not appear to want to fight and described the situation as people trying to get someone to leave who was refusing to do so.

The witness also told jurors that she believes some public discussion of the case has unfairly focused on race. She testified that she does not believe race played a role in what happened and said she personally does not believe the stabbing was an act of self-defense.

Throughout the day, prosecutors presented testimony intended to support their argument that Anthony repeatedly refused requests to leave the tent and escalated a verbal confrontation into a deadly encounter.

The defense, meanwhile, continued advancing its position that Anthony acted in self-defense after Austin made physical contact with him.

After a full day of testimony from first responders, law enforcement officers, and multiple student witnesses, court adjourned shortly after 5 p.m. Jurors were instructed to return Saturday morning as testimony continues.

Texas does NOT play!

& that’s why Taylor Parker is sitting on death row.

Before this documentary comes out on Netflix.. let’s review.

In October of 2020, Taylor Parker attacked a pregnant woman, Reagan Hancock, in her home. Killed her. Removed HER BABY FROM HER WOMB.

Taylor had been claiming to be pregnant for going on 10 months, in order to keep a relationship alive.

After doing this unhinged, heinous act.. the genius gets pulled over for speeding/driving erratically.

Now, you can access the full body cam footage online where Taylor sits and lies to investigators and hospital staff for over an hour claiming “she gave birth”

They knew she wasn’t pregnant. Her HCG levels were… non-existent. She wouldn’t let doctors check her for “hemorrhaging”

Investigators were already aware of the murder and baby removal at this point, and let me say- they should get an AWARD with how patient they were with this psycho.

Anyways, a Texas jury spent 90 minutes deliberating before they found her guilty of capitol murder and sent her to death row.

Oh, and the baby didn’t survive.

“Maternal Instinct” airs June 12th on Netflix.

⚖️Austin Metcalf’s Family Overwhelmed as Fatal 911 Call is Released⚖️

The family of Austin Metcalf grew deeply emotional as prosecutors played a 911 call placed by a fellow coach during the incident. Hearing the recording—which captured the urgent request for paramedics at Kuykendahl Stadium, descriptions of an Army veteran performing chest compressions, and witnesses noting the severe blood loss and lack of breathing—caused Austin Metcalf’s family to break down in tears.

The tape also captured Metcalf's final gasp before losing consciousness.
Following the audio recording, the prosecution introduced visual evidence of the immediate medical response.

Jurors were shown a photograph of emergency personnel performing CPR on Metcalf, a view withheld from the general gallery.

Additionally, Prosecutor Bill Wirskye presented a heavily stained jacket used to apply pressure to the stab wound, displaying the physical item to witness Joshua Rebmann while a corresponding photograph appeared on the courtroom monitors.

📍Karmelo Anthony is accused of fatally stabbing 17-year-old Austin Metcalf. If Anthony is convicted, he faces between five and 99 years in prison. Anthony faces a murder charge, not a capital murder charge, and therefore does not face the death penalty.

The defense rolled out Dr. Julian Davies yesterday… a clinical professor… pediatric specialist… long résumé… long list of licenses… and an even longer explanation of FASD…

He went through TH’s childhood… prenatal alcohol exposure… mild to moderate brain function issues… past head injuries… lead poisoning… all the medical jargon… all the “here’s why his brain is different” talk…

But the defense kept going… $450 an hour… 30–40 hours of work… maybe 20 more… he reviewed records.. records the defense hand‑picked for him…he admitted he only knows what they gave him… if something was missing… he wouldn’t know…

And the State made sure the jury heard that loud and clear!! Cuz let’s be honest.. James was on fire yesterday!! 🔥 🔥 🔥

He spent 2 hours and 45 minutes with TH in jail… did a medical interview… physical exam… took photos…

Then the State asked the real questions… “What did you actually review about the crime??”

He said he had the truck video and audio… some summaries… some timelines…

But did he watch all of it??
No…
Did he have all five days??
No…
Did he know TH covered the forward‑facing camera before the abduction??
He “recalled” something about that… but wasn’t sure…

So he reviewed “some stills…” “a little material…” and what he reviewed “may be incomplete..”

And this is the expert we’re supposed to believe has a full picture of Tanner Horner’s functioning…

Then the State dismantled the narrative piece by piece.. TH’s IQ is 107.. above average.. all tests were normal except one.. problem‑solving is not one of his deficits.. he used language and planning skills just fine when it benefited him.. he smoked cannabis on video.. but no co***ne.. he lied to cover evidence.. which the doctor admitted is either lying or problem‑solving..

And then came the big one.. malingering..

What is malingering??

Malingering is the intentional fabrication or exaggeration of physical or mental illness symptoms to achieve a specific external goal.. such as avoiding work.. obtaining insurance money., or evading legal responsibility… it is a deliberate.. conscious behavior rather than a mental illness… common examples include faking pain.. exaggerating injuries.. or tampering with medical tests…

The State asked if making up a fake personality after murdering a child to seem “insane” would be malingering…and Dr. Davies said yes… an attempt at malingering that wasn’t effective… which is why we haven’t seen Zero since the initial interrogation videos..

So after all the medical explanations… all the brain talk… all the “he’s impaired..” all the “he struggles..” we end up right back where we started.. that Tanner Horner knew exactly what he was doing… and even tried to fake insanity to get away with it..

This witness proved.. without even meaning to.. that Tanner Horner knew exactly what he was doing when he pulled up to Athena’s home… kidnapped her… s*xually assaulted her… tortured her… murdered her… and then tossed her body like she was nothing…

No Tanner… you ARE nothing…
And Athena… she was EVERYTHING…

A child with a future…with family who adored her… and a life that mattered more than every excuse the defense has dragged into that courtroom…

And this witness confirmed that there was no confusion… no “brain deficit” stopping him… no impairment preventing him from planning.. hiding.. lying.. covering the camera to keep people from seeing what he was doing and how evil he truly is.. and covering up what he did by cleaning the truck.. manipulating everyone around him.. family.. friends.. coworkers.. bosses.. even the loves attendant he manipulated into giving him free cleaning supplies by using an ultimatum..

He knew what he wanted to do.. he chose who he wanted… and then… he acted… this is proof of predatory behavior.. and that he will do it again.. and what do we do with dangerous predators??
