Hello Everyone!
I am so happy to announce I will be open June 1st!!! I can't wait to get back to work and see everyone. First i need to let you know the changes that will be in place for your upcoming appointment. Please read carefully.
~ I moved to studio 3 (its right next to where I was, just closer to the front door and slightly larger)
~ When you arrive at the salon please send me a text and I will reply if it is ok for you to come in. You will not be allowed to wait in the hallways at this time and I have to make sure everything is sanitized thoroughly before you enter.
~ Masks! You'll need to wear a mask (that goes behind your ears...not ties) in the salon and for the duration of your service. I'll be wearing one too. If you are getting a color service make sure you wear a mask that you are ok with getting color on. The mask is required to receive any service in the salon.
~ Blow drying will not be provided at this time. If you are just receiving a haircut and would like it styled with a curling iron/flat iron you may come with clean dry hair and I can cut it dry. I know this isn't ideal for people and everyone knows i hate to have my clients leave with wet hair but know this is temporary. I will also not be shampooing mens and children's haircut only appointments. Please come with clean hair.
~ No Guests or Children may accompany you into the salon for your service.
~ No beverages or food can be brought into the salon at this time (since the mask needs to worn at all times). Please only bring necessary items like your phone and form of payment.
~Zero illness policy. If you are having symptoms of any illness or have been around anyone showing symptoms please reschedule your appointment.
Thank you to everyone for your understanding during this time. If you have any questions don't hesitate to text/call me.
I will be starting to reschedule clients at the end of the week. If you had an appointment during the closure will you please email me ([email protected]) with days/times of day you are available.
I understand that most of you are very excited to come in (I am too). But I am going to go in the order you were scheduled. If you want to include your originally date of your missed appointment that would be great. I have a list but with people rescheduling a few times I want to make sure I’m accurate. I can’t wait to see everyone and thank you for your patience and understanding as i reschedule everyone.

I think it’s important to give you a little idea of what may be “new” when we do get back into the salon. I will keep you as updated as possible when I know anything....

What can CLIENTS do to help salons navigate a new 'normal' you ask?🤔

💥You’re missed terribly and your stylists are grateful for your return.
💥Safety measures were created for all involved.
💥Most likely your appointment is going to involve the possibility of wearing a mask 😷 I will probably be instructed to do the same.
💥The importance of coming ALONE, extra people in a salon compromises everyone and most likely will not be permitted. NO extras please.
💥Your stylist cannot physically work 12 hour days 7 days a week, rest is essential for all.😴 There may be scheduling changes that need to happen. Please understand when it comes to that time. ♥️
💥Your initial services will take more time. Please understand things may be more complicated than your routine touch ups.
💥Coming in sick is NOT an option.
💥Rescheduling hundreds of clients will take time. Be patient and understanding.
💥When you arrive you will most likely need to wait until your stylist is ready before entering the salon.
💥Your health is the biggest concern. As well as safety and sanitation that will be done inbetween all clients.
💥Your stylist may choose to open at a later date than the state you’re in has allowed, being respectful of that decision takes an unimaginable load off his/ her brain and heart.
💥Your stylist has already lost thousands of 💸💸 and has no desire to replace it with a ventilator for either of you, be patient. ❤
💥If your health is already high risk, you might consider waiting a little longer, your health is more important.
💥A 'soft opening ' will be anything but soft.
💥Know that your opinion of the entire situation won't change laws and rules necessary for everyone's safety, keep the conversation to hair and how we will make you look beautiful & feel wonderful ❤
💥Know that while trying to connect with your stylist, there are others possibly attempting the same thing. Responses might be slow coming as your stylist is preparing everything and answering everyone simultaneously.
💥Above all else, no one is more excited about your arrival than ME - Help make it the best appointment ever!

My client came in with the longest hair I have ever had in my chair lol...and I cut it off (to donate of course) and I added some subtle balayage highlights. It turned out beautifully @ Salons by JC - Burnsville
