Y’all! I have the most amazing massage therapist! Went in for my weekly appointment today and she did all of this to celebrate my birthday. Thank you Kandy for all that you do! I am so blessed to have found you!! 😄🥳🎈🎂
What is Lymphatic Massage?
Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage helps encourage the movement of the lymph and interstitial fluid using a series of gliding, compressing, cupping and stretching techniques. This series is a gentle, light, rhythmic, and specific sequence given over a certain area of the body or over the entire body to help move trapped fluid out of the tissues and back into the circulatory system.
What can MLD help treat?
Sprain, Whiplash, Hematoma, Post-Surgical Edema (Swelling), Oncology, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Trigeminal Neuralgia, Anxiety, PTSD, Stress Reduction, Migraines and Lymphedema.
To schedule an appointment, call or text 479.899.1000.
Happy Father’s Day to all of the wonderful Dads out there!!!!
Good morning everyone! I wanted to take a moment and talk about the reopening of massage practices. If you are a client of mine or you are seeing this post and have another massage therapist, please understand the position most of us are in. While the governor legally opened up our profession to work with new PPE requirements, most of the massage therapist don't have access to the necessary PPE required. While some of us were proactive and ordered it weeks ago, we are still waiting on these items to arrive. Most PPE equipment is still being allocated to hospitals and first responders. Second, these are uncertain times and each therapist must evaluate the level at which they are willing to work to maintain the health and safety of each of their clients and themselves. So please be patient with us as we navigate this unkown time. If you are an existing client of mine, I will personally be in touch as I make decisions on my reopening timeline and the services I will be offering at that time. Much love to everyone. I hope all of your families are staying safe and healthy.

Mental health is very near and dear to my heart. Not only have I known many people in my life who have struggled with anxiety and/or depression, I myself have found, at times, it takes a hold of me. As a massage therapist and a client of massage, I am so excited to see more and more research being done in this field and how we can truly assist people in healing the mind and body.
"Massage therapy is another type of CAM (complementary and alternative medicines) practice that is often used to treat muscle pain, injury, and stiffness. Massage therapy has more recently been used for the treatment of mental and emotional problems, including stress, anxiety, and depression"
How Therapeutic Massage Can Help Ease Anxiety Learn why massage therapy shouldn't just be considered a luxury but rather a therapeutic option for easing anxiety and the symptoms of panic disorder.
