Here’s a reminder that the scale is just a number!!! It’s a great tool to use on your weight loss journey but it doesn’t always tell the whole story!!

I am set to maintenance on ww and have stayed the same weight for a while now! However, I’ve continued to weight lift at the gym & I’m starting to see the progress more and more!

It’s so important for me personally to not focus too much on the number the scale shows because at times it can be really discouraging. Progress pictures help to show the work I’ve been putting in when the scale doesn’t!

It’s always so helpful for me to compare the last two pictures and see that even at the same weight, my body can look very different!

Don’t get too caught up on a number & focus more on staying consistent! The results will come with time!! šŸ’Ŗ

It’s not motivation, it’s CONSISTENCY. šŸ”„šŸ’Æ

Motivation is fleeting and doesn’t pull you through day after day. However, being consistent and keeping your promises to yourself day in and day out will ALWAYS yield results. šŸ’ŖšŸ¼

Strive for setting goals, making a plan, and then making promises to yourself and keeping them - that’s the roadmap to success.

When you day in and day out CONSISTENTLY keep doing what you know you need to do, you will achieve your goals.

In a fitness journey that includes:
šŸ†Getting 7-8 hours of quality sleep daily
šŸ†Lifting heavy weights 5x a week
šŸ†Staying active and getting steps in daily
šŸ†Cutting out processed food and adhering to a macros-based diet where you track what you eat daily and plan your food ahead of time
šŸ†Working on mindset daily and having a positive mindset (and getting rid of the negative things in your life!)
šŸ†Drinking 3-4L of water daily
šŸ†Dumping alcohol
šŸ†Limiting stress
šŸ†Believing you can change and having self love

You can do it, trust me! I’m not special, I’m just a girl who keeps my promises to myself EACH AND EVERY DAY. šŸ’•

Happy transformation Wednesday!! I truly NEVER imagined I would be able to make the progress I have in the time since I started my journey.

These pictures are 2 years and 8 months apart. Every time I would approach weight loss or changing my lifestyle, it always seemed soo overwhelming. It felt like it was going to take years and years to make any progress and half the time I wouldn’t even start because of that.

When I stopped focusing so much on the results and more on the process, I noticed such a change! I focused on being consistent each day and slowly that consistency lead to visible results!

Don’t let the pressure of certain results hold you back!! Take it one day at a time and focus on the things that make you feel better; the results will come with time and consistency!

Are you training daily and not seeing the results you want?ASK YOURSELF THESE QUESTIONSā¬ā¬ā¬ā¬

-Am I REALLY sticking my macros 90% of the time?
-Am I being intentional with my lifts?
-Am I progressing each week in the gym?
-Am I getting enough sleep?
-Am I getting in 8-10k steps?
-Am I moving throughout the day?
-Is my stress managed?

Change takes timešŸ’ŖšŸ» whether you’re lifting or running or walking, change takes time!

•••
Ever since I started my strength training journey my biggest reminder to myself was consistency. Good food 70/30 of the time, strong workouts a few times a week & a positive attitude along the way ✨

•••
The biggest & most important change has been MACROS! You can’t undo a poor diet. Reverse & live at maintenance for most of the year & then do a small 4-8 week cut to show case some results!

•••
Just a reminder to you all that change takes TIME! Stick with it and find in the fun in the process no matter what workout program you follow✨

I am a mother of 3 kids, work full-time, and suffer from thyroid disease. Over the years I have tried countless diets and I could just never get the weight off. I always blamed my thyroid and pretty much gave up.

I eat healthily, but nothing ever seems to work. I started taking Keyslim Drops and continued with my healthy diet and I was shocked when I lost 2.5 inches from my waist in just 4 weeks and 1.5 inches from my thighs.

Oh, I should mention I have a chronic foot injury that prevents me from doing cardio such as running or even consistent walking. I did work out a few times during the 4 weeks with a kettlebell. I am starting my 2nd bottle of Keyslim Drops so I can lose the rest of my belly fat.

Recently I’ve been getting questions about why I lift weights, what it has done for my body and if it is necessary to lose weight. I wanted to show the comparison from when I first started weight lifting in 2020 (and weighed 190 lbs) vs. now after I’ve been consistently lifting for 2 years (and I weigh 185 lbs).

It’s hard to see all of the progress I’ve made in two years at the gym just in these pictures but it’s definitely been a slow process!! I’m proud of how much I have pushed myself lifting weights & cannot wait to continue making even more progress.

That being said, you do not need to lift weights to lose weight. For me, nutrition HAD to be my number one focus and because I did that, I was able to make the transformation between the first two pictures. There are soo many benefits to weight lifting and I do highly recommend it but every time I am asked whether or not you have to lift weights to lose weight, my answer is no!

However some of the things weight lifting HAS done for me:

šŸ”¹Given me an outlet to have me time and focus on bettering myself

šŸ”¹allowed me to build muscle to have a more toned physique

šŸ”¹improves my mood and has become like therapy for me to clear my head

šŸ”¹improves my mobility & flexibility as well as strengthen my joints

šŸ”¹gives me a fun and motivating way to push myself and get movement in each day

Again, weight lifting is not necessary for weight loss but it is definitely something beneficial I highly recommend! It’s so important to find what works best for you and what activity you can stay consistent with!
