On the 8th, Nanook suffered from anaphylactic shock brought on by an allergy from the vaccines she received. She is doing well now and resting at home, but she terrified us for a second. Nanook went limp and could not walk, she was covered in hives and was vomiting and going to the bathroom everywhere. She’s now on medications to help her get over the shock and is on the mend. I love to share good things on this page, but will also share the not so good things. She sends you lots of hugs and licks.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Pepper and Nanook’s owner and my mother. She fought a hard battle with pancreatic cancer over the past year. My mother loved dogs and Pepper and Nanook were no exception. If it weren’t for her loving huskies so much, huskieswithus would never have launched and I would not be on dogstagram today. All three of us love mom and she always wanted this page to do well. Thank you.

an update and a little hiatus, I guess. the person who runs this page, Alex, is going through a tough time, medically. as I am trying to figure out what is going on with me. I am stepping away from this page for a short time. Ziggy, Pepper, and Nanook are bright spots in a very dark time in my life. I will share more when I have more information. Thank you.

We’ve been training… A lot. I almost forgot how hard it is to train a puppy, but she makes it look so easy sometimes. Her being a GSD, she catches on quicker than the huskies, but that also means she is equally as mischievous. I’d like some GSD owner advice if you can give some for crate training, she’s super attached to me. It has gotten better but as soon as I leave, she’s trying to get to me.
