Motherhood is one of the greatest blessings l've ever experienced in my life
Back in 2018, I was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer. At the time, doctors believed it could spread into other organs, and I was told I may need to have my uterus and additional organs removed along with chemo/ radiation.
Hearing those words was devastating... especially being told I may never become a mother.
But I made a very difficult and risky decision, I chose to go against many of the recommendations I was given, and I fought for my life holistically for years.
Fast forward 5 years later... I finally got pregnant it was truly a Miracle
Even then, doctors didn't think I'd be able to carry full term because of the amount of scar tissue in my cervix.
They believed I would either lose my baby early or deliver extremely prematurely.
But once again... they were wrong.
My son was born at 42 weeks — two weeks past my due date & A big healthy boy who clearly was very comfortable staying in there.
So as you can imagine, my son means absolutely everything to me.

Hi y'all
Today I had an echocardiogram - which is basically an ultrasound of your heart. It lets doctors see how your heart is pumping, how blood is flowing, and check that everything (including any devices) is in the right place and working properly
For those of you who are new here... I was born with two holes in my heart — ASD & PFO — and had no idea until last year when I had heart surgery to get them closed
Fast forward to about a month ago, I got COVID and it was really hard on my body... rough!! Not long after, I started having heart pain again, which has honestly been pretty scary, ugh
So now we're running tests to make sure the device in my heart is still secure and to check how my heart is doing overall. Trying to stay grounded through it all and trusting the process... l'll keep you guys updated hugs!
