My boys have absolutely no idea how lucky they are. They think this is just a normal Tuesday night.

I’ll be the first to admit… cheetah spots aren’t exactly my specialty, but they’re definitely a whole lot better than the pink-and-black stars he originally requested. 😅

The red, white, and blue have never just been colors to me 🇺🇸

Long before I ever stood behind the chair, I had the incredible honor of representing Team USA as a competitive figure skater. At a young age, I learned what those colors stood for: discipline, resilience, grace under pressure, and the pride of being part of something bigger than yourself.

Those lessons shaped me long before I became a hairstylist.

Maybe that’s why these colors have always felt like home. They’ve never just represented the Fourth of July to me. They remind me where I’ve been, what I’ve worked for, and how grateful I am for the life I get to live today.

These days, my version of representing something I love looks a little different. Instead of lacing up my skates, I get to stand behind the chair, create beautiful hair, build genuine relationships, and help women feel confident every single day.

Whether I was wearing skates or an apron, my goal has always been the same: to represent something I love with pride.

What a gift that is.

This weekend, I’m celebrating more than fireworks.

I’m celebrating the freedom to build a life I’m proud of.
The opportunity to do work that fills my heart.
The clients who’ve become friends.
The family I love.
