I wanted to share something, a little PSA 🥰 Even though I’ve completed multiple makeup courses and have earned certifications as a MUA, I still invest in continuing education every month!

Since becoming certified, I’ve remained active in an exclusive education group through my certification program, where a different professional makeup artist teaches a masterclass each month. I also stay connected with my course director, who regularly shares makeup education and business tips. So I am always learning and growing 🫶🏼

The second slide is actually a small excerpt from a recent educational email I received. Even after becoming certified, I’m still learning about artistry, client experience, and ways to better serve my brides.

I never want to be the artist who thinks they know it all. The beauty industry is constantly changing, and I love finding new techniques, products, and ways to better serve my brides.

When you sit in my chair, you’re getting someone who is always learning, growing, and working to be better than she was yesterday 🤍🥰

Bridal Tip: If you can, try to book your makeup trial, hair trial, and dress fitting on the same day.

Seeing everything come together at once gives you a much more accurate idea of how you’ll look and feel on your wedding day, and gives you a better idea of any adjustments you may want to make.

One of my brides, Alex, planned all three on the same day! She had her makeup trial this morning and is now off to her hair trial before her dress fitting 🥰

I always recommend this when schedules allow because it helps you see your full bridal vision come together, ensures everything complements each other beautifully, and takes a lot of the guesswork out of wedding-day planning. 🤍

I can’t wait to see the photos once she has her hair done and her dress on!
