The good news? Daily sunscreen, hats, shade, and protective clothing can dramatically reduce cumulative DNA damage over your lifetime.

As an esthetician, one of the biggest misconceptions I hear is that a “base tan” protects your skin. In reality, the tan itself is evidence that damage has already occurred

☀️After years of working with sensitive, reactive, and post-procedure skin, I’ve chosen to focus on mineral sun protection. I appreciate the broad-spectrum protection provided by zinc oxide and find that mineral formulas are often well tolerated by many of my clients. While both mineral and chemical sunscreens can be effective when used properly, mineral sunscreens align best with my treatment philosophy and the products I choose to recommend.⛱️
