Not everyone likes eating veggies. If you're one of them, what you can do is try sneaking veggies into your recipes. Here's a carrot muffin recipe that even kids will enjoy.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups carrot cooked and puréed/mashed
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350º F.
2. Place carrot purée in a large bowl. Add eggs and butter/oil.
3. Beat these wet ingredients together with a hand-held be**er. The batter should become smooth.
3. Add the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon.
4. Beat for a further 30-60 seconds to make a well-mixed batter.
5. Portion into a lined muffin tin.
6. Bake for 15 minutes. Cool and serve.

Is your kid a picky eater? Most toddlers and young children go through this phase, which they eventually outgrow. Here are a few strategies you can try to avoid mealtime battles with your kids.
1. Keep mealtime relaxed. Do not pressure your kids to eat everything on their plate.
2. Always include a safe food, something your kids love to eat. It's okay if they end up eating only that.
3. Be a good example. Show your kids that you also eat the vegetables you prepared for them.
4. Make it fun and exciting. Use shape cutters to cut through fruits and veggies and put them in colorful muffin cups, or use sticks and skewers, or food picks in different styles and colors.
5.Continue offering new foods even if your kids have said no to them before.

Doing a cleanse? Try this healthy, cleanse-friendly soup recipe.
Non-dairy Creamy Cauliflower Soup
Ingredients:
1 head cauliflower (about 1 1/2 pounds), broken into florets
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
3-4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
3 tbsp. olive oil
5 1/2 cups water, divided
Extra virgin olive oil, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Cilantro, chopped for garnish
Directions:
1. Warm the olive oil in a soup pot or a large pan. Add the onion and cook it on low heat until translucent. Add cauliflower, garlic, and 1/2 cup water. Increase heat to medium-low, cover pot and stew the cauliflower for 15 to 18 minutes, or until tender.
2. Add another 4 1/2 cups hot water, bring to a low simmer and cook an additional 20 minutes uncovered.
3. Purée the soup in batches in a blender to a very smooth, creamy consistency. 4. Pour back into pot and let it rest for 20 minutes to get a thick consistency.
5. Thin the soup with 1/2 cup hot water. Reheat the soup.
6. Top with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, cilantro and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
