For those of you who knew Ms. Josephine—and I know many of you did, since I saw her almost every Friday afternoon for nearly 25 years at Toppers, Studio 40, & Razors—I thought I would post this. Josephine was truly one of a kind and one of the kindest, truest people I’ve ever met. I continued keeping in contact with her after the move to Georgia and she continued to send wonderful letters and gifts to both me and Jason. I’ll be back behind the chair! Starting at Little Gem Barber Shop this week!

How many steps does it take to get a vivid color? This many! (More if you have previous color already. I did not, my starting point was natural virgin hair.) Started this process at 9 am, finished at noon. Fun stuff!

First time I’ve done hair since my last day at Razors. For those of you that don’t know, I started working at a gym here in Carrollton, GA. I’m in the process of becoming a certified personal trainer and certified for teaching group exercise. Although I like what I’m doing, I miss being in the salon. Planning on doing hair on the side so if I do anything interesting, I may still post time to time. And if y’all coming through Georgia and need a ‘do, hit me up!

After 25 years having the best clients, co-workers, bosses, and friends (because truly that's what I consider all of you) in the Terre Haute & Brazil area, I put up my shears, clippers, & wax machine for the last time today. I'm not sure if I'll continue to do this when I get to Georgia, but if I do, I can only hope to meet people half as great as I have here. I say through tears, that I am thankful for each and every one of you and I will miss you all. This would be so much easier if you all weren't so good to me. Thank you!! 🖤🖤🖤

It is with a combination of great excitement and overwhelming sadness I am announcing that my last day of work will be Tuesday, March 23. I still have a FEW openings left. If you need to get in before I pack up the truck for Georgia message or call me ASAP!
