One of my favorite things about being a hairstylist is that I get to be a small part of so many different seasons of life.
I’ve had guests sit in my chair before weddings, job interviews, vacations, family photos, and big life changes.
I’ve celebrated milestones with them, listened to their stories, and watched their confidence grow over the years.
Hair is what brings us together, but it’s rarely the thing I remember most.
What I remember are the conversations, the relationships, and the trust that’s built appointment after appointment.
And honestly, that’s one of the reasons I still love what I do. ✨

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that every great hair appointment starts with a conversation.

It starts with understanding what you’re hoping to achieve.
Sometimes guests come in with photos saved on their phone. Sometimes they know exactly what they want. And sometimes they just know that something isn’t working anymore.

Those conversations are some of my favorite parts of the appointment.

Because the more I understand your goals, your lifestyle, and your hair history, the better I can help create a plan that works for you.

The beautiful hair at the end of the appointment is important.
But it all starts with the conversation at the beginning. ✨

One of the things I hear most often after a color appointment or extension install is:
“I wish I had done this sooner.”

And every time I hear it, I smile because I know how much thought usually goes into making that first appointment.
For a lot of women, it’s not a spur-of-the-moment decision. They’ve been thinking about it for months, sometimes even years.

They’ve wondered if extensions would be worth it. If they could pull off a different color. If they should finally do something for themselves.
Then they take the leap.

And more often than not, they realize they spent far more time worrying about it than they needed to.
I think there’s something to be said for finally doing the thing you’ve been thinking about for a long time.
Whether that’s extensions, a color change, or simply investing in yourself for a change.
You might just find yourself saying, “I wish I had done this sooner.” ✨

One of the things I’ve noticed over the years is that the women with the healthiest hair usually aren’t the ones looking for a quick fix.

They’re the ones who stay consistent.

They show up for their appointments. They take care of their hair at home. They trust the process, even when results don’t happen overnight.

We live in a world where we’re used to seeing instant transformations, but healthy hair doesn’t always work that way.
Sometimes it’s a series of small changes that add up over time.
And before you know it, your hair is healthier, stronger, and closer to the goals you’ve been working toward.

Some of the most beautiful hair I see isn’t the result of one appointment. It’s the result of months or even years of consistency.
And in my experience, that’s what makes the biggest difference. ✨

Before and after 😍 I’m always amazed at how good extensions can make your hair look 😍😍

One of the biggest misconceptions about extensions is that they’re damaging.

And honestly, I used to believe that too.
Over the years, I had guests sit in my chair with damage from extensions, and it made me hesitant to ever try them myself. Even though I wanted fuller hair, I wasn’t willing to sacrifice the health of my natural hair to get it.

That’s one of the reasons I was so drawn to Invisible Bead Extensions.
When extensions are installed properly, maintained correctly, and paired with a healthy hair care routine, they should not be damaging to your natural hair.

Since I’ve been wearing extensions, I haven’t experienced any additional damage to my natural hair. The health of my hair has remained the same, even through postpartum shedding.

The truth is, the method matters. The installation matters. And having a stylist who prioritizes the health of your natural hair matters.
Healthy hair will always come first in my chair. Everything else is built on that foundation. ✨

One of my favorite moments is when a guest looks in the mirror at the end of an appointment and can’t tell where their natural hair ends and the extensions begin.

That’s when I know we’ve done our job.
Beautiful extensions aren’t just about adding length or fullness. They’re about creating a result that feels natural, seamless, and completely your own.

A lot of thought goes into every extension appointment from color matching and placement to the haircut and final blend. It’s the little details that make everything come together.
When it’s done well, people don’t notice the extensions.

They just notice beautiful hair. ✨

If you've been around here for a while, you've probably heard me talk about healthy hair, scalp health, hair color, and extensions.

But what most people don't know is my own hair journey.

Years ago, my hair was unhealthy and at a length that I hated. With a lot of patience (and I mean a LOT), I was able to get my hair healthy again and finally grow it out.

But even then, I still had one problem my hair was very fine and lacked the fullness I wanted.
I always loved the idea of extensions, but I never considered getting them because of the damage I had seen them cause. Over the years, so many guests sat in my chair with damaged hair, and in some cases, extensions were part of the reason.

Then I discovered Invisible Bead Extensions.
After learning more about the method and seeing the results for myself, I decided to give them a try. It completely changed the way I felt about extensions.

Not only did I finally have the fullness I had always wanted, but I also found a way to help my guests achieve their hair goals without sacrificing the health of their natural hair.

That's why I'm so passionate about what I do today. I've been in your shoes.

A few curls, a little volume, and suddenly it’s a good day. ✨

One of my favorite things about extensions is how beautifully they hold a style.

One thing I've learned after doing hair for years is that the biggest transformations aren't always the dramatic ones.

Sometimes it's adding a little more dimension around the face.

Sometimes it's softening a color that feels too harsh.

Sometimes it's adding a little fullness through the ends or adjusting a haircut so it works better with your hair.

The small details are often what make the biggest difference.

I think that's why I love color and extensions so much. No two guests have the exact same goals, and often it's those subtle changes that help someone feel more confident when they look in the mirror.

Not every appointment needs to be a complete transformation. Sometimes the goal is simply making your hair feel a little more like you.
And honestly, those are some of my favorite appointments. ✨
