Happy 7 year anniversary to Hairvana today! It’s hard to believe that it’s been 7 years since I took a big risk and went out on my own. No regrets, best thing I’ve ever done for my career. Thank you so much to all my loyal clients, some of whom I’ve known for 20 years now. I’m also thankful for all of the wonderful new clients I’ve gained since opening Hairvana. You’ll never fully understand what a privilege it is for you to put your trust in me for your haircare needs. I’m even more thankful for the honor of getting to know you all and be a part of your lives! I appreciate you all so much for allowing me to make a living doing something I love so much! This past year has made that even more evident, your loyalty and generosity has touched me deeply. Thanks again to you all and here’s to a great year ahead! ❤️❤️❤️

Doing everything I can to keep my clients safe when I return to work!

Well folks, reopening has been pushed back. I want you all to know that I love, appreciate, and miss you! I hate not being able to see you all and obviously it’s really hard having no income for all of these weeks, but safety comes first! Unfortunately, it’s nearly impossible to implement social distancing in a salon environment to do what needs to be done. I have to stand very close to you, I have to touch you, I spend 1-3 hours with you in a small space. I can wear a mask but how am I going to cut and/or color your hair if you are wearing one? I am complying with government orders. Your health and your family’s health and, of course mine and my family’s, is the most important thing to consider at this time. Salons are in “Phase 2” of NC reopening, and as of right now, I’m not exactly sure when that will be. I am considering shifting my entire schedule as it stands right now to begin whenever the new reopen date will be. To me, that seems the most fair to all my clients who have scheduled appointments thinking I would be back May 1st (so, for example, if you had an appointment with me on May 1st, you have an appointment with me on the first day of reopening). It will also alleviate the aggravation of multiple rescheduling. I am going to do my absolute best to accommodate everyone in the most timely manner possible. Please be patient, I know this is frustrating. Everyone be safe and stay healthy!

Hello loyal clients! I’m so sorry to say that I will not be able to make house calls as a lot of you were hoping. Although I was certainly looking forward to helping you with your hair needs and of course, making some money during this shut down, it’s not worth the health risk to me, you all, and our families. Also, definitely not worth the risk of prosecution or losing my license! Please be patient, feel free to reach out for May appointments! Everyone stay healthy and practice social distancing. I love and appreciate you all and I’ll see you all on the other side of this!

I’m so sorry to have to deliver this news to all of my wonderful and loyal clients. I will not be able to perform my salon services for the next several weeks. I am deeply saddened, even though I had a feeling this was coming. It’s not going to be easy. This is a crazy, unprecedented, and devastating event.
