This young man, Joe, lost his mom to cancer 5 years ago. When she first got sick he started growing his hair in hopes that one day to cut it and get a wig made for his mother. He recently lost his grandmother also to cancer. After growing his hair for 6 years, today he decided was the day to fulfill the promise he made. He cut all his hair off and is donating it so that someone who is going thru cancer treatment will be able to feel somewhat normal. This young man set a goal 6 years ago and chose me as the person to help him reach that goal. He dedicated 6 years of his life to reach that goal and give back in a positive manner. I think many could use the blueprint this man showed today to give to those in need. Selflessness, caring, empathy, and kindness is what I saw from this young man today. It is the holiday season. Let’s find a way to give back what we can. Even if it just a smile and a hello to a stranger. **kcancer🎗️
