Some quick tips for :

💫 bigger barrel=looser curls

I like to use a 1.25” barrel (or 1” for short or fine hair

💫 section your hair for more control

This lets you focus only on the pieces of hair you’re working on and gets everything else out of the way.

💫 leave the ends straight

This gives a more natural look and will help prevent burns on your fingers if you’re using a wand.

💫 alternate the direction of your curl

For a more natural/beachy look, curl the first couple of pieces away from your face then alternate directions.

💫 practice

It might be difficult the first couple of times, but don’t give up. I promise it will get easier and you’ll get faster ⚡️

We just need to blend the line where your highlights meet your natural color.

I used low lights, a shadow root, and a gloss to transition Kristen from traditional highlights to a softer blonde look that requires so much less maintenance ⚡️⚡️
