There is so much to celebrate with a New Year however, this year is especially special for E. Newyin Beauty. February 1st marks E. Newyins One Year anniversary! I am so happy to have made it this far, especially since we started off in the middle of a pandemic. This February I will officially be launching my Website enewyinbeauty.com where you can get all information about the Salon, schedule appointments and more. None of this could have happened without you, my loyal clients. To show my appreciation to all of my clients, I will have a few specials running for the month of February. In addition, please take the time to look at the new prices on our booking site as well as some of the new and updated policies. Some changes include salon hours, VIP appointments, scheduling polices, cancellation policies, added services, deposits for specific services and Covid-19 polices/rescheduling. All prices and policies will go into effect on February 1st.

Specials for 1st Anniversary/ February
Specials can be scheduled for February only, promotion will not carry over to the next month if the client cancels or reschedules. Specials will be listed on the booking site as they are listed below.

NEW POLICES, UPDATED POLICES & REMINDERS

~ Price Changes
Some prices have changed and gone up. Please take the time to look at the new prices on our booking site.

~ Salon Hours
Salon Hours of operation
-Tuesday 10:00am- 8:00pm
-Wednesday- Friday 10:00am- 6:30pm
-Saturday 10:00am- 4:00pm
Salon hours for Tuesdays will be extended until 8:00pm. This means the latest appointment will be taken at 6:00pm in most cases for a simple service such as a shampoo/ blow dry curl or flat iron.

~ VIP Appointment
VIP appointments are now offered. These are appointments that are scheduled outside of regular salon hours starting at 6:30pm. They can only be booked through stylist. The
appointment will have a 30% VIP fee that is added onto the total service charge. All appointments will cost at least $100. (Ex. If your service cost is less than $100 after the 30% VIP fee is added. Your service will automatically be rounded up to $100)

~Understanding when Scheduling open up
The appointment book is not opened up each month for scheduling. The system is ongoing. The book will always be open 30 days starting on the current day. Ex. If today is January 1st availability for scheduling will show until January 30th. January 31st will not show on the site until 12:00am January 2nd.

~ Number of Scheduled appointments
Clients are not allowed to have more than the two scheduled appointments booked at any given time. If you already have two appointments scheduled and you are trying to book a 3rd appointment. The 3rd appointment will be denied. You will not be able to schedule another appointment until after one of your appointments have been completed.

~ Deposits
Non-refundable deposit of 25% will now be required on services that take 4.5 hours or longer (deposit goes towards total service cost) Deposit is due within 24hrs of booking or appointment will be canceled.

~ Hair Take Down/ Removal
-Hair Take down/ Removal services are available and include removal of Sew-Ins, Micro-links, Tap-Ins, I-Tips, Wigs, Ponytails and Braids. This service includes the removal as well as detangling. This service is available regardless of who installed the style.
-Please schedule to have your hair taken down or removed in addition to the services you would like to get done. Removals are an additional cost and take additional time that is not accounted for in regular services.

~ Detangling fee
-If you come to your scheduled appointment and your hair is not detangled you will be charged an additional $10 and $1 per minute if it takes more than 5 minutes.
-You will be charged this fee if I cannot comb through your hair with a wide tooth without a lot of resistance. (no exceptions)
-This fee normally stands for those who have just taken out braids or where natural hair styles and have not combed through or detangled in the past 3-4 days

~Braiding Services/ Weekend booking for braid
-All braiding services now include shampoo/ blow dry and hair (1, 1b, 2, 4). When scheduling an appointment please specify which color you would like and consult with stylist on all other colors.
- Braiding services scheduled on Saturday that take longer than 2.5 hours will automatically be rounded up and charged $300 if the services don’t equal up to.

~ Payments
All funds are due at time of service. Please contact stylist if you are unsure of the total cost of all services that will be provided during the scheduled appointment. Forms of payment accepted Cash, Card & Zelle (Cash App on case by case basis)

~ Persons not being serviced
Children under the age of 13 must have a chaperone. Elderly may have one assistant. Those are the only 2 exceptions NO outside guests or children are allowed unless being serviced.

~ Grace Period
There is a 15-minute grace period for your scheduled appointment. If you fear you may be more than 15 minutes late please call stylist to see if you can still be accommodated or if you will have to reschedule (ex. Your appointment is at 12:30, you have until 12:45 to arrive for your appointment.)

~ Cancellation Policy
There is a 48-hour cancellation policy.
-48-hour cancellation, no charge.
-24-hour cancellation, $25 charge.
-Same day cancellation, 50% of scheduled service will be charged.
-No Call No Show cancellation, full amount of service will be charged.
-You are free to reschedule your appointment through the booking site up to 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time. You have 1 opportunity to reschedule, if a deposit was paid it will be honored for the reschedule. Following the two missed appointments 50% of your service fee will be asked of you before your next appointment will be accepted, this fee is NON-REFUNDABLE (fee go towards total service charges).
(If you paid a deposit, it will go towards your cancellation fee. If a client does a “No Call, No Show”, the deposit will be added towards the cancellation fee and the remainder will be charged.)

~COVID-19 policy
-Masks are required at all times regardless of vaccination status.
-All personas entering will be asked to sanitize hands.
-If you are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms or you know you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 please reschedule if you are more than 48hr from your scheduled appointment. If you are falling within 48hr or less of your scheduled appointment please contact stylist for further instructions to try to avoid cancellation fees.
