Football season has begun!!

Hey everyone. This is kind of a hard post to write. Valkyrie is going to be temporarily closing and disbanding. There are a lot of reasons for this, but at the end of the day Maj’s health needs to come first. We hope that this is temporary and as Maj can rest, recover, and rejuvenate, that we can rebuild. Valkyrie has been the most amazing journey with the coolest people, has had so many cool events and fundraisers and give backs to the community. The staff here have been incredible and it’s been wild to create an environment people talked about, felt safe in, and chose for their body art. But we are gonna take a break, make some changes, and the dream is that one day- we can come back. Valkyrie WILL keep selling our products! The biggest blessing in the world has been the ability to create our product line and even travel around the state to sell it at expos! This page will remain, our business name will remain, but you’ll see a lot of changes in the posts as we gear our selves towards our strongest suits right now. Thank you alllllll for everyone who has supported us in the last two years, and hopefully we can be back soon! It’s time to buy tickets for our annual anniversary ball!! A formal event, with food, a live band, and a raffle of prizes from supporting local businesses!! This year’s theme will be the Elements - are you earth, air, water, or fire??

Tomorrow we are going to meet in the park to hand out clues and redeem eggs! Same as last year; you will use all of cedar to find our gold eggs full of discounts, but this year - NO DECOYS. Every egg has a prize! You have to come to the park to be given hints, and when you find the egg bring it back to us so we can book you for your prize redemption ON THE SPOT! We will also be hiding candy eggs in the park for your littles!

We will be doing 17 tattoos per artist, with Josue and Tabitha both tattooing. I will be in the shop first thing to take down names for first 17 people! You’ll get a call back when it’s your turn.

Tattoos will be $40 FLASH tattoos, and another $10 to add color! Wishing you guys Luck! See you on Friday the 17th!

Hey everyone! I know you know what an angel tree is and I LOVE the community for hosting them everywhere but they don’t go to a super even spread of charity programs! I reached out to some of our local charities and asked how often they get Christmas donations and have a list of places that don’t! I’m asking our amazing community of Valkyrie costumers to help me get those places gifts! We have our own sort of angel tree in the shop with some ideas! I’ll be bringing all donations to their people after the 17th so they have time to get them wrapped for their families!

Hey everyone! I need your kiddos’ help to decorate this year! Have them come paint an ornament and craft with us! They can take the ornament home or put a name and a phone number and put it on our shop tree for entry into a drawing for a goodie basket for the whole family!
