Gift set I completed for a client/friend. He wanted to give the set to his nephew who is leaving for Tennessee. I chose the blade that was ground in Cleveland, Ohio (where he and I met) and is stamped with a musket (to represent the volunteers from Tennessee in the War of 1812). Brush is made from Honduran Rosewood with turquoise inlay.

Another French Rameau that will bring going back to its homeland tomorrow. This one is so stealthy. I love the way it turned out. New scales of jet black G10 with a blood red acrylic wedge. The entire blade got a bluing as well.

Sometimes vintage blades are just as they ought to be and require no work other than a little cleaning. As it is for this beautiful Fox Cutlery hollow grind with embellished scales.

Skin Bracer is the scent that I grew up associating with shaving and grooming. My dad used it all the time. He called it "Green Lizard". I thought it was only fitting to photograph it with a Green Lizard razor that I restored for a client. Gun blued blade, black/toxic green G10 scales, and I even used a piece of its old green celluloid scales to make the wedge spacer. Fun project that I hope the customer loves.

I don't get a lot of international clients but it's always fun when I do. This is a World War II era French Rameau cleaned up and rescaled in Lava Flow acrylic.
