4 Major Mistakes people make when growing out their hair.

1️⃣ Not getting regular haircuts. I recommend getting a cut every 12-16 weeks to take off dry, split ends and keep hair looking healthy.
2️⃣ Putting hair in a pony or bun all. the. time.
Keeping hair up in a tight pony or bun puts too much tension on the hairline and can cause breakage and hair loss. Try leaving your hair down for intermittent periods to give it some rest.
3️⃣ Heat styling without protection. It is so important to protect hair from heat! It causes damage and split ends. Always use a heat protectant when blowdrying and ironing.
4️⃣ Not giving hair the nourishment it needs. Using the right products makes a huge difference in the health of your hair. Use a sulfate-free shampoo for a gentler wash and color retention, a moisturizing conditioner, and it doesn't hurt to throw in a treatment mask once a week to keep your tresses healthy and happy 😀

3 Ways To Prevent Color Fading In the Summer ☀️🩴⛱️
🧢 Wear a hat or other head covering when out in the sun for long periods. This will also protect your scalp from getting sunburned!
💧 Soak hair in fresh water before heading into the pool or ocean. Your hair is like a sponge and will not absorb the chlorinated/salt water if it's already soaked
🧴 Always use a professional sulfate-free shampoo. This provides a more gentle wash with fewer "filler" ingredients to keep your color vibrant longer.
