Let’s be real—we ALL have hair struggles at some point. Whether it’s greasy roots, dry ends, or curls that just won’t hold, hair issues can be frustrating. But the good news? There’s always a fix! Let’s break down some of the most common hair struggles and how to solve them. ⬇️

1. My Hair Gets Too Oily—Why?!
Oily hair can be caused by overactive sebaceous (oil) glands, product buildup, or even washing your hair too often (yes, really!). Over-washing strips your scalp of natural oils, making it overcompensate by producing even MORE oil.

💡 Fix It:
✔️ Try washing every other day or every 2-3 days to balance oil production.
✔️ Use a lightweight, sulfate-free shampoo designed for oily hair.
✔️ Double shampoo when you wash—first to remove buildup, second to cleanse your scalp.
✔️ Dry shampoo is your BFF for refreshing roots in between washes!

2. The Ends of My Hair Feel So Dry—Why?!
Dry ends are usually a sign of moisture loss, heat damage, or lack of regular trims. Environmental factors (sun, wind, hard water) or living in Colorado 😜 and overusing hot tools can make things worse.

💡 Fix It:
✔️ Use a moisturizing conditioner every wash & a deep conditioning mask 1-2x per week.
✔️ Apply a leave-in conditioner or hair oil to keep ends hydrated.
✔️ Limit heat styling & always use a heat protectant before blow-drying or curling.

3. My Curls/Waves Won’t Hold—Why?!
If your waves or curls fall flat, it could be due to too much product, using the wrong heat settings, or lacking the right prep before styling. Fine hair, especially, needs structure to hold a curl.

💡 Fix It:
✔️ Start with lightweight volumizing products (mousse, texture spray) instead of heavy oils.
✔️ Use a heat protectant with hold—this helps curls last longer.
✔️ Make sure your hair is fully dry before curling—damp hair won’t hold style well.
✔️ Set curls with a medium to high heat setting and clip them while cooling for extra longevity.
✔️ Finish with a flexible-hold hairspray or texture spray for long-lasting waves.
