I am the Brekk and Co salon owner, and I work part time doing hair as well. I am a sourdough bread maker on the side, And I love my broncos !

How long should I wait to wash my hair after a color service? 48 hours is best. Cooler water, and using a color protecting shampoo is also recommended. [swipe left to see the before photo of this transformation]

Question of the week: how do I get my hair to be shiny? Answer: clarify your hair once a week! This Removes damaging impurities and dulling deposits including hard water, metal ions, minerals, pollutants and product build up

To cut or not cut?

Well you already know that I just chopped my hair and I have to admit it feels amazing.

My ends were damaged. I wanted more blonde. The 4 inches we took off was much needed. And it is the healthiest my hair has been in ages.
Sometimes we are afraid our hair won’t grow back like it was when we cut a lot of hair off.

But this is false!

As long as you are maintaining trims every 6-8 weeks and using thermal protection when flat ironing or curling or even blow drying- your hair will grow.

So moral of the story - Cut the hair!
